AirForce Texan Big Bore Air Rifle

Finally, finally AF has stepped out of the shadows and produced a serious AG aimed at sportsmen. There have been a hand full of us out there that  have been shooting custom built Big Bore AF Airguns for years. However for the most part, all efforts to give AF the results have been ignored.

I see that AF still insist on milling out the area just under the breach, which does nothing but weaken the frame, and cause accuracy robbing frame flex. This has been pointed out to them for years! And it would be such a simple thing to simply save machining time by just NOT Doing it!!! Grrrr!!!

The area that is left, is the trigger group housing, which is a thin, three sided housing. Very, very weak!

But still, I applaud them for stepping up their game. Only wish they would listen to what has already  been learned in the field and on the ranges rather than getting their info from low level  celebrities. There is more to making a superior product that flashy advertising and using TV Celeb's in  thinly veiled as hunts.

what a horrible rifle, an air force big bore? come on guys what a disaster....

I'm just wondering am I the only one that wants one of these af rifles man do I want one but for $1000 Im sure its a fine gun and for the performance you get its cheap as far as airguns go and thats the problem here in wi silencers are legal so I can download a 45-70 n put a silencers on for like $700 i m not trying to downplay these airguns there are other manufactures but if your gonna get one might as well be the best I need more info are the pellets way cheap I'm not broke by any means I'm more of an annillical thinker

How many shots before needing a pressure refill? Is the pressure regulated for consistent shooting or does it go down after several shots?

I love hunting but i am dont have money buy gun
