Why are you so snarky? I’d say almost snobby and being nasty. Just like the military brass when pilots would see something To shut them up.

Normally I enjoy your pompous authoritative style, but I think here you are missing a great deal of the written historical record. The Cuneiform Tablets from the city of Nineveh, the Enuma Elish, the Atrahasis, the Eridu Genesis, and the 7 Tablets of Enki that tell of the Sumeria gods, the Anunnaki; or the biblical stories of Enoch,
Elijah, Ezekiel. I would say you had a bad choice of out of place artifacts as well, perhaps looking into the Ural Mountains Nano Spirals would be a better place to start. Having personally explored Egypt, Peru, Turkey, India, etc., I would like to point out that much of the evidence you pointed to as there being a clear timeline of events is flawed, as the narrative scripted by mainstream academia cannot account for the fact that these many of the ancient civilizations were bronze age cultures and did not possess the tools or technology to manipulate and carve granite, diortie and corundum, like we see with many of the statues and amphora vases in Egypt, as well as many of the temples around the world, such as the Great Pyramid or Saqsayhuaman in Peru. Now these probably weren't done by aliens, but it is clear that the historical narrative is flawed. Like the fluidic weathering patterns on the Sphinx. Perhaps your researchers could be a bit more diligent, so when you want to sound pompous, you don't come off as uninformed when you want to strut. Just saying.

A note about the pyramid's construction: I read that they think some of the stones were actually poured and formed like concrete rather than quarried and moved long distances based on the stone's internal structure. They say it doesn't match other quarried stone but rather a solution that was poured and hardened like an early form of concrete. Google "Did the Great Pyramids' builders use concrete?" It's an interesting theory that could explain things like the walls of Saksaywaman where the stones fit so perfectly together. Check it out it's worth a read.

While I love Simon's videos, this one dismisses a lot of Ancient Astronaut Theory as fantastical and absurd, when there are some aspects of the theory that make a lot of sense- such as how mankind evolved from a common ancestor at a rate that is far too fast for science to explain, and how many ancient structures with stones weighing thousands of tons and cut with laser precision being constructed by a primitive human culture. Some are absurd, but some of the theories are actually pretty legit sounding.

I like to think we live in the firefly universe. Just us, as boring as that sounds. It would explain was it's so bloody quiet out in space. Most likely life happens all the time but intelligent life is very likely a 1 in 1000 kinda thing. Common sure, but on the scale of 1 in 1000 with 1000 being the whole of our universe. It is apparently infinite as they say. So yeah it's one in 1000 which is good odds but 999 of that is no life space, we may be all there is in our part of the universe. Space is flipping big folks, if anythings out their we'll likely never meet them.

Historians and Archeoligists: "There's no validity to the claims of all these wackos"

Graham Hancock: "Hold my Beer"

Just saying, he's been proven right alot more than the times he's also corrected his mistakes.
We're all at least a bit wrong. Wacko theorists and sceptics alike. For instance, White Gods isn't half wrong. Their gods where all bearded white dudes in robes and Jesus was white (start from Leviticus and dont stop. red and brown is more common a descriptor than black and white for skin colour, I mean, half the middle east tribes are tanned white dudes)

Lines up. We just keep doing the same colonial bs over and over and just can't accept it. (A tale older than Rome lol)

For all we know, and may ever know, aliens came here when dinosaurs lived and thought this is a cool planet, made some notes and went on their way. Unless aliens come back and tell us they were here long long ago we'd never know cause their just isn't any good evidence right now to say otherwise.

The only ancient alien theory I believe is the possibility of ancient aliens having come to Earth and, using their advanced technology, proclaimed themselves gods.

Did they help humans obtain technology far beyond our time? No. At most, they inspired us to advance our own technology more quickly to try to be like them.

Did they interfere much with humanity? No, probably not. At most, it may have been a few aliens intentionally doing it, but probably more likely a few aliens accidentally doing it, checking out Earth to see what's going on, study the planet and ecosystem, and getting spotted by more advanced beings than they expected. More advanced than the other lifeforms, but nowhere near advanced enough to understand what was going on or who these aliens really were. And the little bits that these aliens showed us, both intentionally and accidentally, became myths and legends, and much like some mythical creatures, the stories became more exaggerated and fantastical over time.

I agree with the statement "any sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from magic", and so many series have shown how this could happen. I know the series showing this are all fiction, but the way they do it, where they use advanced technology that ancient humans misinterpret as magic or divine power, some proclaiming themselves gods, as vain as humans as they bask in the worship of more primitive beings, and some ending up spotted and humans just consider them gods despite them never interacting with them enough to call themselves that.

Just looking at modern technology shows a sample of what it could be. Giant birds with flaming wings? Airplanes, intentionally inspired by the shape of birds, with jet engines, or even some unknown technology. Arrows that never missed their target, creating a second sun as they strike down their enemies? Missiles, heat seeking, doesn't even need to be nuclear for it to be that bright but it could be (probably not).

Does it make sense for an alien species advanced enough to travel to distant planets to give humans such simple technology like an incorrect depiction of our solar system? No. But it could make sense for them to bask in their power enough to command us to build monuments to them. Why not give us advanced technology to make better monuments than we could manage on our own? Fear of what we might do with that power. Or thinking it would be more entertaining, a sort of test to see how smart we were, how we would go about accomplishing such a task.

What happened to them? They most likely left. Maybe they weren't planning to stay long, they ended up trapped, a crash landing or lack of fuel, and once they were able to, they left. Maybe they only stayed long enough to complete whatever task brought them here, likely studying the flora and fauna, including humans. Maybe they got bored of us, we were entertaining at first, but between our primitive technology and the fear of what we'd do if they gave us advanced technology (we have been a rather violent race throughout history), they decided to move on and find a more interesting planet. It's possible they died and were either so physically similar to us or something else on Earth that their remains haven't stood out enough to archeologists, or they're biologically different to us in ways we could imagine and thus their remains look like something we wouldn't expect, something we wouldn't see as biological remains but might be mistaking for something else entirely, or their remains just didn't last long enough to be uncovered. Not all remains are preserved well enough for us to find, and if there weren't many of them, it's quite possible none were preserved well enough to be found, they just decomposed. The most likely options to me are that or them leaving, probably a mix of both.

To me, it just seems too likely that aliens visited us in the past and, if so, it seems almost impossible that there's absolutely no evidence of it. It seems more likely they visited and became part of our myths and legends.

I could also see them being the truth of some mythical creatures instead (or as well), like faeries (not Tinkerbell stuff, the more traditional things), giants, merfolk, harpies, or even less humanoid things, I'm not sure what. But beyond them being ancient deities or whatever, the ancient alien theories don't make much sense, like the supposed advanced technology of the past or anything along those lines. That's just people pretending to know more than they do and spewing nonsense.

There is something that i always wondered, not aliens, but a previous civilization to ours that went extinct from something... We believe that our own civilization would disappear from the face of the earth in about 15000 years and the more we advance technology the more ephemeral our objects seem, so a combination of that fact with an overwhelming ammount of common themes and shapes in ancient ruins and stories from civilizations that should not have met eachother nor do we think they did, descriptions of deities that when read in the original language seem like descriptions of modern ships, drones, tablets, medicine that we have today! It seems a lot more probable as sn explanation to those things that make people go: ALIENS!

UFO/UAP/E.T. try to control people or minipulate them when they sleep. elderly people are sometimes more acceptable then the youth. They try to control them or program/reprogram them at night during sleep. They take advantage of the deep REM sleep people go into at night. UFO/Aliens try to minupulate people and interfere in there personal affairs, religion and daily interactions sometimes. They allso Judge Humans Too Harshly as well. ⚖️ Thats why i strongly feel that humans should be above UFO/UAP/E.T.'s 🌠☝️

I don't know much about ancient aliens, but after watching hours of in-depth mainstream archaeology about ancient Egypt. I am pretty certain the great pyramids were built by another earlier civilisation. Why would I say this?
Firstly they were around since the old kingdom.
Secondly, because ancient Egypt was insanely obsessed with using hieroglyphs to portray the divine connection between the pharaoh of the time and the gods or earlier pharaohs. Why go through all the effort of building the greatest pyramids on earth, only to not put a single hieroglyph anyway inside or outside? It makes no archaeological sense.

You’re missing the only blindingly obvious documented evidence of an ancient alien visiting earth, literally the one that was written about.
That’s Jesus Christ.
From the star of Bethlehem at the beginning to him ascending to the heavens on a beam of light at the end, (not forgetting the immaculate conception, I mean an Angel comes down & suddenly she’s pregnant? 🤷‍♂️) it’s pretty obvious he was an alien.

I personally think it was the only time they tried to help us out & seeing as we basically ignored their advice & completely misinterpreted what they were trying to do, they probably vowed never to bother trying again.

Anyone ever see that video of that 1 guy building stone henge in his backyard, using only some boards, some rope, some rocks and a pully? 1 guy lifting stones that were thousands of pounds. It's hilarious that people think we need aliens to accomplish simple tasks. Not saying it was simple in practice. But the concept is pretty damn simple. You keep adding weight to one side of the pully, until it eventually lifts the other side. Like wow, what a complicated concept to understand. People are very stupid!!!

What were you expecting - a letter or text message maybe? "We haven't found any evidence that other lifeforms exist in the universe" - the total arrogance of the human race summed up in one sentence right there.
