How to Use the SERPed WordPress Plugin

Did you know SERPed has a WordPress plugin? If you don't, tune in to our video to find out about how to use this plugin. Your SEO work will become a lot easier if you do!

To begin, find your API key at the API/Plugins tab. To download the plugin, go to the Tools menu, and under Other Tools you'll find WP Manager. This will take you to your WordPress account in which you can download the plugin.

Once done, go to your WordPress backoffice and click on Plugins on the left hand side menu. Then, click on Add Plugin. This new menu will allow you to upload the plugin, you just need to pick the .zip file from your desktop or laptop. Click on the Install Now button. Then, click on Activate Plugin.

When the plugin is activated, simply click on the SERPed.net button in the left hand side menu and paste the API Key you got from SERPed. Once you've got the API Key, click on Save.

Be careful when setting up the update options. The best way would be to tick all the checkboxes to update the WordPress version, the plugins, and the themes, but be aware that this might break some functionality if your website is not fully updated.

To set up the plugin correctly, remember you have to add the website on Site Manager (on SERPed). Once you have your website on Site Manager, you should be able to use the plugin on it.

Once you have everything in place, go to the All Posts page and click on the Add to SERPed button on the post you want to check stats for. Then, click on Add Inner Page. You can also select the Add Keywords To Rank Tracker option to get targeted data according to the right keyword.
