And this is also a big plot hole fuck up in Deathnote.... how can any shinigami write down any name? Theres a huge chance every time they do they will die, because they may lengten other lifespans by shortening one. Meaning every name they write is like russian roulette to them always.

Rem loves Misa to the point where she’d do anything to keep her alive. Which is exactly what Light is manipulating to get rid of L and Rem in one swoop.

Missa halved her life span twice so maybe she would have died in upcoming years anyway but light became the way of how missa will die cause if she gets caught their will be trail for some months and she will get death sentence and the death sentence day will be same as when she was about to die because she halved her life
