A NEW 2025 CRKT KNIFE... THAT'S USA MADE!?

Not having thumbstuds ruined the original version. I hated it when I handled it in store and saw a ton of them for sale when the original came out. Doubling down on this design is just a bit question mark for CRKT.

I like options for opening. Only the crossbar opening sorta ruins the knife.

I wanna pre order the new Magpul knife. The blade is mimed!

I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for CRKT. The K.I.S.S. was actually one of my first knives. So I’m always curious when they drop something new. This one’s… interesting. Not sure it’s my vibe yet, and I kinda miss having a thumb stud or something to grab onto.

So glad they made one this size, perfection. The only time I open that way is when im fidgeting

So technically. This is NOT a gravity knife. I own one and have done a lot of work to it. From the factory, in the closed position where the crossbar contacts the lock face the tang extends upward to create an internal flipper tab that is actuated by the crossbar lock. Meaning you can hold it straight up and with enough force and no wrist and open the knife, making it not a gravity knife.

I almost never open my knife with the crossbar, always studs, front flipper or the fuller/blade hole. Avoid the flippers !

I want the full sized blacked out version. I know the MagnaCut doesn't need the coating, but it has ProTech Godfather vibes, but Western instead of Italian.

Reminds me of the big elementum, that only opened with depressing the button lock. Didn't enjoy that one.

I don’t get this knife. The full size version is the same price. Why buy a smaller version for the same price?

I definitely do operate my knives like that. My crossbars, button locks and sometimes compression locks are swung open and swung closed. Only problem is if i have long sleeves it likes to get stopped when opening. Though i like butterfly knives too, so opening and closing knives is half the fun i have with them.

I open my stitch like this - I actually find the opening hole to be kinda ineffective. I think sometimes my hand snags on the ram lock while it's opening and slows it down. Also the We Nightblade (designed by the DBK boys!), which has a nail nick of all things (which I never use).

Whether you're a fan or not of the knifes aesthetic, it's hard to deny that Hogue makes a damn good looking and highly functional deep carry pocket clip. Good torx driver access with the opening hole, thin width and relatively short in terms of appearance to handle ratio, and the perfect gradual upwards ramp at the other end that also thankfully doesn't have that ugly and uncomfortable flat bill sticking out like so many other OEM companies prefer to use for whatever reason lol

I have the original larger one. Using the Crossbar lock only. Keeps the knife slicker, for a Gentleman's knife. Great knife.

I forget the model name, but this kinda reminds me of an older Lionsteel knife. Love it. Wish I could afford it.

I open my Django with the tabs. Can not thumb flick it at all
