ОтветитьI'm curious if the running program in these studies included any strides or hill sprints? If they were lacking, it explains why the treatment group that included any form of strengthening exercise at all (in this case plyometrics) had greater improvements.

Hey Brad, thanks for outlining these studies so well. I’ve added both drop jumps and box jumps into my strength regimen. For me the studies show that probably all / most plyometrics are important for improving running performance. It may be less important exactly which ones you do.
