This New Windows Feature Fixes (Almost) Any OS Corruption

Put windows on, get most or all of your preferred apps on, updates done, driver updates, settings where you want them, Spyware u 8nstalled or disabled etc, and do a macrium reflect backup and store on a few different drives. Label it as "Fresh install with most settings and apps configured" or some such name- the. Do incremental backups from there on out, but be prepared to revert back to your "clean state" if things go horribly wrong, or you get a virus, or whatever. It takes me about 2.5 minutes to do a full system backup- then another 2.5 for each successive backup to different drives- 2 in total.

Nice, but what if you can’t boot to windows? How to start this proces in such situation?

Tried these methods last year and it didn't even help me. Windows couldn't find a problem and I've used all types of commands, and every update I had would fail, even with fresh Service Pack install would fail. It was really weird, it wouldn't let me "re-install" windows at all. 😂😂
Only thing I did was to totally clean install my main drive. It was a really weird problem that I encounter.

if i use sfc /scannow it shows it successfully epaired them, but if i still use the same command it gives the same results. how can i solve this problem..

I had Bitdefender freak out at Chris Titus WinUtil while updating my programs and killed / quarantine files from 20+ active processes which absolutely nuked my Windows install in the process. I can say this Windows Update repair did fix my windows install. And now I don't use Bitdefender.

An easier way to fix windows is to install a Linux based OS...

oh i was excited for this video then i realized i just used this feature like 2 days ago lol. It didn't fix my issue and I had to do the slightly more drastic step of reinstalling windows and selecting to keep files.

as a retired IT guy, I'll try it once just to understand a bit how the process unfolds. And if something in windows goes wonky, I'll try it so see if that fixes the issue. Hopefully there won't be many occasions where I have to resort to this.

tbh traditional ways to remove and instilling the fresh windows is my fav ways 😂, very unpopular for other people I know

@ThioJoe I just watched this video a few days ago, and then tried the said feature to my PC (because for some reason my OS didn't update for a very long time which is unusual and SFC /scannow command in CMD is broken), it did its job fixing the issue without reinstalling the whole OS 💯. So it is indeed a Huge W for Microsoft and a huge thanks to this video, I did fix my own PC 🥰🤩
