Fact - This squad defeated the entire German Army in WWII 🤣
Ответить
ОтветитьI'm 68. Watched with my parents and brothers. Loved it then. Still love it.
ОтветитьQue maravillosos tiempos. Televisión blanco y negro no nos importaba. Y no solo esta serie Combate también El gran chaparral Mi bella genio.....Ay Dios mío cuando no había tráfico y las playas eran limpias
ОтветитьLoved Combat ! & never missed an episode as a 60's kid & @ 72 still do today & one thing I noticed but Sgt. never carried extra clips for his machine gun 🤔😉😎
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but that episode was so poorly written and directed. I almost lost faith in the show, but I must watch on because I just love old 60s and 70s World War 2 shows. I'm addicted to the soundtrack basically and the action, but I could have written the whole series so much better. It's just very hard to believe most of What goes on
ОтветитьWhere are Sgt. Saunders spare magazines for his Thompson? Only the one mag in his gun?
ОтветитьI've watch combat through the years, since it first aired when I was a young child, over and over. Most of the episodes are pretty good, even exciting. Not so with this one (which is fairly pedantic, boring, and predictable). Guess one can't hit a homerun every time at bat.
Ответитьthe rifle grew a scope how nice
Ответитьany other time sarge has his 45 on him
ОтветитьI’m 68 and i watched ‘tis show i loved it an still do
ОтветитьThe orchestration behind the musical background of this old show is amazing. That is no longer available in contemporary film.
ОтветитьEl sargento actuando como novato
ОтветитьI am 69 this October and will always remember watching COMBAT with my younger brother when I was younger, joined USMC in 72
ОтветитьLa película combate era mi favorito cuando era niño

ОтветитьCan someone please explain to me if these guys are Rangers or not? They get more special missions than I've ever heard of.
ОтветитьIt's Siegfried, head of C.H.A.O.S. ( GET SMART ) isn't it?

ОтветитьHow many tommy guns did Saunders go through?
Ответить.... amazing location,.... Vic Morrow and Alfred Ryder are still two of my favorite actors....
ОтветитьWhen this program was just broadcast on the Internet, I watched it with my father. My father was a squad leader in the Japanese Army and understood the conversations of the US Army. Three years after the war, he interpreted at a prisoner of war camp and taught the contents to his subordinates. My father learned traditional swimming techniques and was able to swim silently. He was an expert at the prefectural tournament in traditional judo. When the Sino-Japanese War began, he volunteered to go to war, bringing with him his family heirloom traditional sword. He was the first soldier to land in the Philippines as a squad leader of a scouting force that traveled south from China. After that, he traveled south along the front line, passing through the Vietnamese, Cambodia, and Laos, and went to Burma, where he was disarmed at the end of the war and broke the blade of his family heirloom traditional sword, giving it up. He told me that he explained things to his comrades who did not understand English as an interpreter at the prisoner of war camp, but his combat conversations were similar to Sanders', and he understood his silent role. The American Army talked a lot, but they also talked a lot and their conversations were very noisy, which was different from the Japanese Army. The Japanese Army was focused on fighting planes without wasting bullets.
ОтветитьThis series is golden! Mi late grandes and I loved it!
ОтветитьCombat was aired in my country started in 1978 onwards and a must watched movie series to me.
ОтветитьVic Morrow also played the slave driver in "Roots" the 1976 TV series. I couldn't picture him as the bad guy.
Ответитьblack and white makes it look authentic to the period
ОтветитьKirby with no BAR
ОтветитьI loved COMBAT. Me and my family never missed it. Maria from Athens. 2024.
ОтветитьThe monochrome gave this show a gritty, Noirish ambiance. Twilight Zone, Outer Limits also had this feel. Each episode was a shortstory. As a boy I was hooked on this ambiance. Now, a 69 year old scarred Leftist, I still love this pioneering, analog Television.
ОтветитьVick Morrow as Sunder
ОтветитьThis and The Rat Patrol we’re great back in the 60s.
ОтветитьMe and Dad

ОтветитьPretty cool that this show has so many lifelong fans and even some new ones.
rick in Tennessee.
70yr old with over 40 in combat in law enforcement, medic and military contractor in several countries. Would have liked to have met Vic Morrow as i channeled his Sgt. Saunders on many a long hike carrying sometimes weapons and gear. Still do. Never used a Thompson tho.
Alfred Ryder played an excellent German role.
He guest starred on many TV shows during the 60s.
Never missed, watch daily on You Tube and Sat. Nights on H& I...Always love every show..Best ensemble cast ever..They were real GIs with a real Sergeant..Forever Saunders, Hanley, Caje, Kirby, Little John and Doc (Conlan Carter the best)
