We need to talk about ANCILE Shields... War Robots

You know a simple fix that would make the ancile useful is that even weapons that bypass the shield lose some of there power by having to go through the ancile u still take damage just not as much and the ancile get depleted

It seems the new thing to do is see how fast you can bring out your Titan. It’s crazy how it’s seems to be every match

I think that energy projectiles should be weakened by the blue energy shields- like the projectile damage be halved or something like that. that would atleast give the ancile some value

Manni, do you ever notice that the game especially lags when you start to shoot at them. I've experienced this, I have a Galaxy S23 Plus so my phone has great speed, had full 5G service, game was running just right when I was running and flying around but so often, right when I open fire, the game starts its lags and I usually lose my robot due to lags.

Thanks Manni. Nice experiment. I propose another one. Try it with the Crisis, take it for a walk with double Ancile and 2 weapons with good damage and anti-stealth... and go hunting for other stealth Crisis!

Unfortunately this is not weird atm, you didn't go into the top enemy player but I guarantee he had a Bedwyr or Eiffel with the flame weapons ..... and he would have had some Bot setup to charge his Titan bar as quickly as possible. He would have been on his Titan melting people within 90 seconds.

Because the Flame weapons are so OP (and can be got out so early in battles) they just melt opponents in one clip, opponents don't survive the initial attack to heal up so you can do more damage before you kill them, that is why whole teams are wiped out with the winning team only getting around 20M dmg.


It is sad. War Robots is now War Titans and your Titan is only even close to competitive if you have bought the new flame weapons 😢

Uninstalled the game today. I tried several times to battle, and never had a match without some sort of server error and lag. This game sucks.

They should turn those ancil shields into aegis shields and also buff the ecu shield to like 1mil durability lol... the old items need conversion into the meta today...

Is lynx still good in higher leagues? I’m about to get lynx but I’m not sure if I should focus dumping resources to it. If it is the better choice, I’m going to replace my orochi with the lynx

They should make blue energy shield can block 80% or just 50% of energy damage. It's like when an energy bullet passes through, it will be partially absorbed by the shield.

Why haven’t you talked about the fulgar and tonans update and the newton as well !!! They are literally trash now

Maybe if the ancile shield could be change to aegis shield after u reach level 12 mk 2 but u will have to level up everything from scratch but maybe imo it is better than having to pay for an ultimate version

To be honest i don’t want the ancile shields to be aegis shields, that would be overpowered! Imagine paying only 1500 gold for 60k hp aegis shield everyone is gonna be using it in bronze league and my bulwark’s special shield aint special anymore. I rather have a ultimate ancile! Ancile is not supposed to be meta, thats just the truth, ancile is not for the champion league! Thats the problem with buffing older weapons, if you make it too powerful everyone in lower leagues are going to get killed very fast! I rather not buff it because it’s already good in lower leagues and it’s not absolutely terrible exactly

At this point, they should just replace the ancile's blue shield with an aegis shield

Honestly this gives me an idea for the curie itself. It would be cool for it just to be a robot with a strong shield (blue or yellow idk) and the turrets would be the only source of dmg. This would of course require pixonic to buff the turrets to their previous stats or just buff them to a certain point. Point is that you can have great output damage but you need incredibly good placement. Idk if this sounds good but it Def sounds cool at least. It's literally the playstyle u did in this video but officialized

If Ancile have the aegis shield, Natasha would be an interesting play style. 2 heavy can be equip with ancile while 2 light with Spike, all increasing aegis shield

yea the ancile is a scam, like the ecu uses a light slot and blocks energy weapons, tho i prefer ancile over ecu cuz it can regenerate

Anciles were still fun to use for me when I played and they were something I could get without feeding the game my wallet.

We need ancile but aegis!!!

We need to talk about those Ancile Shields. They have become so useless. You give away the enormous firepower from heavy weapon slots and get nothing in return like 80% of all times. The meta has changed but the item ANCILE has not changed with it. And with purely energy weapons in use nowadays - the Ancile needs to become an AEGIS shield. And not in form of an Ultimate edition but simply because Ancile has no use whatsoever in the game at the moment. It's not like a weak weapon that performs poorly. It's something that doesn't perform at all. And that should really be changed. Please, Pixonic: Don't make this an Ultimate Update. Make it something for us!
