Nick billions are being spent on homeless and drug addictive folk, some money goes to the problem most goes to politicians pockets!

People don't even know what they want anymore now because they are so intoxicated on drugs and alcohol. They lost all good judgements and critical thinking logic skills if they ever even had them to begin with after they started using drugs and alcohol in excess to the point of addictions.

I’m from Baltimore. It’s sad to say that those people can get clean for a week and people will praise them and give them a job. I got children and don’t do know drugs but can’t get a job. How come drug addicts get jobs but people who have children and don’t do drugs cant? Why do people get praised for not doing the drugs anymore but people who never did them don’t get praised at all?

Some of them are so corrupt themselves that they use the prostitutes themselves. Gil Gallegos used to be the police chief there and made sure they put the drugs they just took off the streets went right back out again so more crime was committed and then the cycle would just continue on.

They are so **** up on drugs they think they are going to be eaten by the walls and floors around them that they start tearing up the whole housing they are in because they want to kill the voices that they hear and they think are actually real people. Hallucinations.

A lot of those places lost or were threatened with the loss of funding if Trump took office back in 2024 during the election year and they left before they were out of funding. RFK was a huge influence on mental health funding budget cuts for those types of programs and projects so they gave up and just pulled out overnight before they were in legal trouble with the lack of funding for keeping them going.

They throw pairs of shoes over the power lines for various different reasons. Usually indicate drug/trap house. Other reasons too. Albuquerque NM thing.

Holy cow that is even worse than when I lived there back in 2000 to 2008. I barely can recognize Central Ave now. It's completely changed so much. Castle Megastore is still there, but Walmart and Bank of the West is not? That's crazy! 😮

They cranked up our house taxes and promised to turn a large hospital on Gibson into a housing and rehab facility. Our taxes get higher but it's been years and no homeless facilities. SMH 😣

Some homeless are working poor and can not afford a place if your single adult man. Shelters may not be a great option because of theifs and violence. The street is worse. Their must be and alternate way out. Do not government programs they don't help at all or very little.

My guess is that the local politicians wanted a place where anything goes, so other parts of the city can be cleaner and safer? If they clean up the “War Zone”, the people will move to another area and continue there.

It’s crazy, I’ve lived here (35 miles south of Albuquerque) for 5 years. I have never felt unsafe. I even worked in the “War Zone” for a year. The homeless population is really bad, but they leave you alone. It seems that the crime is amongst them for the most part.

Any Blue State City is WORSE than Somalia! If you keep voting for Leftist ☭ democRats you will ALWAYS live in a crime ridden 3rd world poverty stricken filthy ghetto! 95% of gun violence in this country happens in Leftist ☭ DemocRat controlled city's with strict gun laws like Chicago, New York or Detroit by people who vote DEMOCRAT!!  DemocRat politicians DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! They ONLY care about power and money for themselves!

With Leftist, ☭ democRats it's "vote blue no mater who" Forget the fact that your communist baked potato candidate can't even find his way off a stage, complete a sentence, has late stage dementia, or hates the USA so much that stoped construction of our border wall allowing 8 million more illegal aliens into our country so we can give them FREE everything that WE have to pay for, he committed treason by giving our enemies the Taliban with 86 billion of our best military equipment etc. etc.

Confronting libs with facts is about as useless as trying to explain quantum mechanics to a tree stump.

I'll say 20 years ago the war zone wasn't great but it was nothing like it is now. You could drive around the SE heights and business weren't closing down all the time. What Lomas is now is what Central used to be in the 2000s. After 2014 when the Feds starting investigating APD and police resignations started occurring en mass is when the city started getting a real crime problem. They need to bring back mental institutions. Stop being so generous with these people they will slice your throat if you give them a chance.

As someone who grew up in the 'Burque, this is so so sad to see. It didn't used to be like this. Albuquerque had so much potential and it could have been vibrant and a tourist destination like Denver. After the 2008 housing crash, there were empty buildings left half-built downtown and the cartels started moving in, it's like the city has lost it's soul and what we're seeing is the ghost of Albuquerque.

We see these images and we think we know what we are looking at. Think again! The ego, with all its social programming, is feeding us a lie. Peel away the labels -- the judgments, the stories -- and what is left? Reality. Raw, unfiltered, unfolding, and guess what? Reality does not care about the ego's judgments and comments about it.
We are watching a mystery play out, a cosmic drama playing itself. One day, sooner than we think, all the actors, including every precious "me," will be gone -- vanished -- and only the Unseeable Power, the one that does not come and go, will remain, but here is the kicker: that Power is not "out there." It is us... we are it... we are all one and the same. When ready, try this: stop pretending you are separate -- stop judging -- and focus on the heartbeat that is proving it with every single ❤️thump-❤️thump-❤️-thump...
