I haven’t properly watched Parks & Rec. yet, I do love the show from all that I’ve seen and the show has been on my radar for years. I just think it was a genius idea to have the series end with Ron getting a dream job for him and then paddling out on a canoe, that I’m assuming he built himself, all to a Willie Nelson song. The part of the song that they played even captures the feeling of loneliness Ron felt after everyone left him in the parks department, before starting a new chapter of life for himself.

To the hunt……. Period……

The last season was rough, but they really stuck the landing

Among the Rangers at the end we have a blond, a brunette, a black person, a brown person, a white person, and a guy with a mustache.

This is the most wholesome ending scene I have ever seen!!!!

I loved this show. It is good they never gave in to the temptation to write Leslie and Ron into a romantic relationship. BTW Nick actually built that canoe, and has been married to "Tammy 2" (Megan Mullally) since 2003.
