I lived on Knox Ridge in 1963 the drifts were up to the electric lines that winter . We didn’t go back to school until mid January after Christmas.
ОтветитьPrecious family connection. We now know why you fit in so well here. Thank you for sharing, beautiful story.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed the history of the farm. Thank you.
ОтветитьI don’t know much about utube. Besides subscribing and liking videos is there anything we as viewers can do to help grow your channel? Your content is great and your channel should be bigger.
ОтветитьLooking at the radar right now over maine. Hope you don't get flooded out and come through unscathed.
ОтветитьVery soothing watching you guys talking in the barn with the cows and the birds.
Ответитьhow do you milk on the side without scaring em n getting kicked
ОтветитьThanks I really enjoyed the talk with you and Brent 😊
ОтветитьFirst time subscriber here and I really enjoyed your video
ОтветитьSure is nice to keep a farm in the family for that long of a time.
ОтветитьGood morning 🎉🎉❤
ОтветитьI love that barn the heifers are in, awesome architectural design compared to modern barns
ОтветитьI must be the only person that can hardly hear over the dumb birds
ОтветитьCool story about as it turns out...Your family farm. Very cool...
ОтветитьHi 👋🏽 Taylor and Brent I really enjoyed the life of Brent and farm that should be on historic building by hand farm it’s self is beautiful so landscape Brent is really gentle man and you’re awesome young gal and as always you and Brent be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ответитьnow I realize you guys are related.
ОтветитьThe history is cool. I didn't know there was a connection between you and Brent. Helps us feel like part of the family. Awesome!
ОтветитьAlways enjoy hearing about the history of farms. My cousin is a third generation dairy farmer. It is a Centennial farms, which means it has been in the family for 100 years. My cousin's Grandpa came from Poland. After working in the coal mines, he bought the farm. My Grandpa was born on the farm. He sold his half to my uncle. My uncle passed away in the seventies. My cousin was only about 12 at the time, and he has run it ever since.
ОтветитьIt's content like this, that carves out the good foundation, for a later good channel!!
While it's always fun to watch how other farmers around the world do farming/dairy, the connection to the roots - the farm history, is what binds it all together, making relevant/relatable content for a good channel!
Brent e Taylor, muito obrigado por isso.

Glad to hear the story of the farm thru the years
ОтветитьYour ancestors really were very hard working and determined. Constructing a barn that size takes both braun and brains.
ОтветитьAre you Brents daughter, what is the relationship there?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your history with us. From a cowboy in South Dakota.
ОтветитьVery interesting video
ОтветитьSo how many ancestors of yours and Bret are burried in the cemetery next to the farm ?
Thank you for the chat.
Next time try to get the microphones closer. We hang on every word Bret has to share.
Please farm safe 💚💚

Wow this is awesome 👍 this is so wonderful getting to hear from you both we never knew you were related.
Love it keep the videos coming.
The barn is so peaceful this morning.
TIM from Canada was a good video explained a lot but hard to hear there was a lot of background noise. The microphone was not close enough to hear lot of what was said.
ОтветитьIt's such a great thing that Brent's 6th cousin, who is his Taylor, is his hard working, farm-hand! I hope his hard working, loyal 6th cousin Taylor, ends up inheriting, the farm, which she's faithfully devoted years of hard work and love. Taylor is more than just a excellent farm-hand, she's also a relative to be proud of, to be loved and cherished. I'm sure that Brent feels the same way about his, hard working, loyal and loving cousin. They've made a great family team! Love them both❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьFrugal you say, well I'll be damned
ОтветитьI just love hearing about the history behind the farm. Thank you and God bless
ОтветитьCan I ask about the story on the drumset above the last barn?
ОтветитьNot to pry into family or farm business. But i have noticed TAYLOR , you are the only one that works at the farm with BRENT , so who will take over the farm when brent cant run things anymore when he is much older , i would love to know you would TATLOR , you deserve it knowing how much devotion you put into everything like he does
ОтветитьFound your channel a few weeks ago and have been just watching all your older videos and when i saw this one i was super happy! Really love the way Brent treats you like a daughter that works with him versus some kid that works for him. Learning how to do all this stuff is just amazing for you and the farm and I am really enjoying the channel!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьTaylor, this has become one of my favorite channels for relaxing and taking my mind off of the days troubles. I am always learning something new. I enjoy every one of your videos. ❤😊
ОтветитьIs your boss married?
ОтветитьHi❤
Great work ethic 👍
Not many would put in hard work like you do
Does the boss have a family 👍
What relation are you to Brent other than Boss employee ? Love to see younger generation wonting to carrying on the farm life, I'm 66 still farming for my son and grandsons. Row crops in NC. Daughter Lives in MO on large Row crop farm there so I'm sure the 5th and hopefully 6th generation will carry on. Love your videos of small dairy life, there all gone here in our area, just two or three very large ones. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThanks Brent😊
ОтветитьHello Taylor 🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄🤩🐄
ОтветитьDid he say the barn burned in 53? He would be my age. Or maybe he said 63 because he doesn't look 70.
ОтветитьI can tell the cows are listening, nice and calm they like the theme. Ausume
ОтветитьSay lm very very sorry of. Saying that stuff
ОтветитьGod Bless Y’all ,,,Good Video
ОтветитьWhat Brent's story tells me is be able to change. Holstein's make 100lbs a day, but a cow that doesn't take grain but makes 55lbs a day is good. He said if the sun is shining the holsteins head for the shade. This tells me to Jerseys and Ayrshire's don't have to have grain to make the milk. So this tells me his 70 head are making a little more than half what they did in 2000 but no grain needs fed so the bills get paid. They will gradually build back up from straight grass to a smattering of cornmeal. She said they had to add nutrients so the cows still produce as much as with grain now with some cornmeal. I notice she feeds the heavy producers more to make more with cornmeal. Certain chemicals they need to take the place of the grain. She is a lot more savvy on how to make this farm profitable than she let's on. Brent could not make it without her help.
ОтветитьGreat stories.
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video what caused the fire in barn did they know? Have a great day.
ОтветитьGreat video, I like Brent.
ОтветитьThanks for this...love the history!
