Its not just that this ia an old soviet elevator, I did some online research and found out the manufacturer that installed this elevator, and it is named KMZ.

That lift reacts to calls faster than newer KONE ecodisc elevators. Instant reaction from soviet, 2 sec max wait for KONE. But seeing as soviet lifts use mechanics for the buttons it makes sense.
