Alter Ego was probably my fave out of all of those. C64 version is crying out for an update.

A very different look at a year review, and nice to see that games you played for the first time still made an impact years after release. I'd probably have gone for Cyberdyne Warrior out of those ten, as it shows the promise from Apex prior to Retrograde and Creatures, but also Top Duck because of its puzzle elements I knew would score well.
Alter Ego was my favourite of the ones on other formats apart from the C64, showing a nice idea ported well, and Omega Blast was good too.

Good to know you ended up liking Cyberdyne Warrior that much! Cyberdyne Warrior is getting a cart release for Evercade this February,. While I won´t buy it right away, I´m likely to pick it up later on. Very interesting and unpredictable list!

Amazing how many games you covered in '23! Special operations was a real surprise. Had never heard of it and wouldn't have given it a second look without your review. Not sure I will ever get the time to want to have a look at it myself, but was the most interesting game for me, along with Top Duck! :)
