Damned! You are human after all! I don’t think of feral pig would know the difference between an inch low or dead on with that gun.

Great video! I like the square with the details in the beginning! The bleeping sound is a little loud though, but might be just me.

I finally got some trigger time last night. I took out my Hatsan 125 sniper in 17 caliber to do a cold weather test. It's about 20 degrees here in Chattanooga right now.
All of my other Spring Guns have failed miserably at 35 degrees or below.... But the Hatsan is a gas Ram.
The first shot was dead on the money at 50 yards shooting free hand..... After that things went a little South... Approximately 2 in.
I was quite impressed with the rifle. I wish I had chronograph my test but I don't have a crony right now. I had a 1-inch group 2 in low at 50 yards shooting free hand. And I would guess the win was probably around 8 or 10 miles an hour.
I'm pretty impressed with those results.... But man is it hard trying to shoot when it's that cold. Trying to slow my breathing down and a focus and concentrate.... And my body was so tense because of the cold. And I need my point of impact was going to shift because I was wearing a huge bulky army field jacket. My trigger finger actually was okay..... It was my other hand supporting the stock that became so cold it started to burn. The 65 lb of cocking effort on that cold steel barrel didn't help either.
I was able to last 35 minutes in those conditions. My last three shots did not connect with the target at all. It could have been me or it could have been the gun was so cold. I think it was a combination of the two. If I had been using a benchrest I could better tell. And I wish I had a chronograph.
They only other tests I have for comparison was done about 2 years ago with my Benjamin Trail Nitro piston pistol. It normally shoots around 725 feet per second. That's pretty darn good for a break barrel pistol. But after being in the cold for 30 minutes the speed dropped down to 425 feet per second. I took it inside and warmed it up with a hair dryer..... And it was right back at 725 feet per second.
So all I want to say to all you Avid airgunners out there.... That believe when people tell you gas Rams aren't affected by the cold...... It's a whole bunch of bull.
Anyway... Rick that was some nice shooting at a hundred yards with a 20 mile-an-hour wind.
