Imo our top priorities in the summer should be CB, CDM & ST but we need more depth elsewhere like RW & LB. Also we need to sell well & sell quickly. Players like Casemiro, Sancho, Greenwood, Eriksen, Lindelof, McTominay, Donny, Maguire we can raise some serious money this summer. Also for depth we need to look at potential free signings like Rabiot & Tosin Adarabioyo

100% agree with early sales. Too many rotten players & probably staff as well? Physio, fitness coach, scout, etc.

we missed left back for 80-90% of the season, and wan bissaka, dalot are overwork at that position, even you are great player if you injured you cannot help the team. So my personal list:

Sam, I disagree with you. A central defender is very important and needed BUT the most important signing United MUST make is getting in a proper natural defensive midfielder! Casemiro is most likely leaving, Sofyan Amrabat is leaving too so that leaves United without a good, recognized defensive midfielder. Kobbie Mainoo can play as a defensive midfielder but he looks like a player with the skill-set better suited as a box to box midfielder (an 8). One of the major reasons why United concedes so many shots is because the midfield is just too porous... it's like a basket that can't retain water! Sam, when you mention the word "central midfielder" I wonder what you meant specifically because their are 3 types of midfielders:
* defensive midfielders
* box to box midfielders
* attacking midfielders
What United needs the most is one or probably two defensive midfielders. Solve that problem and almost 40% of the teams weakness is sorted.
Yes, a central defender, left back, striker and right winger is needed BUT signing a defensive midfielder is very necessary. Let's not forget also that Erikson may very likely leave so another box to box midfielder (an 8) who can also play as a 6 will be needed for proper rotation and incase of injury cases.🙂

2. CDM I really like Wieffer and I think he is much cheaper than Onana and Neves
3. LB I think Calafiori is the best he is like Licha and also he can play as LCB too so I really love to buy him
4. RW Olise and if we manage to sell Rashford for some good money maybe buy Nico too
I like to give Wheatley more time but if we can buy another one or two players I want Sesko and LCB Hincapie from Leverkusen He is so underrated and I think he is not really expensive

I like to give Gore a chance too
When he came on pitch in the last season he played well in that few minutes

I mostly agree with the list, I would only change around LB and Striker in priority. Since we have options for LB without being forced onto the transfer market.

Other than that, I'd add finding a LCB and looking for bargains as the next priorities.

We need two centre back and a defensive midfielder with experience around age 24 to 27 after that we can decide about wingers and full backs

1.Sales are Important as to raise more money to buy the players of the right profile:

4. LCB for Martinez backup best option would be Lucumi
5. LB which isn't as necessary as we have Amass coming through, and Alvaro Fernandez coming back from loan in which we can send Malacia out on loan due to uncertainty
6. Backup ST which isn't as necessary due to Wheatley coming through, but we can sign an experienced striker like Guriassy for 17m (in his release clause)
7. Creative Wingers to service Hojlund isn't as important due to Amad Diallo being impactful and also a creative winger himself, but it would be nice for rotation and not overusing players
8. Another Cm as backup to protect mainoo from injury

According to the Sun newspaper, if we sell Rashford & Greenwood we have a kitty of over £400m because of the FFP's Pure Profit policy. If that is the case, selling Rashford & Greenwood needs to be our 1st and only priority!!

What I think from the last season or the season previous to that is
1. A primary striker who plays along with Hojlund. An academic Striker who can be a backup for the club future. United goal difference has been horrible.
2. We need two proper ball crossers, one from right is a must and from left hope rashford can improve. Basically Rashford, Greenwood, Amad & Garnacho are looking for goals all the time rather than providing ball for the striker to finish. That has to change.
3. Central Defender
4. United seriously need a mid-field ball carrier, who can dribble and find space between players to play that final pass.
5. Passing, shooting and dribbling training should be improved a lot. Garnacho's passing and ball control is horrible.

IMO decent players to look at are , onana I agreed with you there , olise yes , todibo yes I think he’s an amazing right sided CB , Depay may be up for debate due to his price but I’d love to see Watkins with us , cucurella could be a solid option for us at LB

I disagree with the sale of Greenwood. This season has shown us we need depth in the squad, we need a big squad to counter all these injuries

So realistically £75/85 million off those 3

Buy Nico Williams, Inaki Williams, Onana, and Adarabiyo. Use the remaining money on smart deals or for winter window.
Sell Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro, Antony, DVB and Pellistri. Let Martial, Varan, Eriksen and Evans leave.
Get Nico Williams as creative winger and Inaki Williams as back up striker.
Get Onana as CM for physicality, ball winning and play stretch. Use Amrabat and Onana, and Mainoo and Mount. Mount can also play on the wing.
Tobido is a must. Get Adarabiyo for free. Use Maguire and Lindelof as back up. Alvaro Fernandez to stay as back up LB. AWB is a must when we play against strong wingers.

First quick sale is good, second we go for a CDM first before any buy, then we go for a left back look sure and malacial cant be reliable and dalot is not his best playing left back, then one RCB, i dont agree with right winger unless we are selling anthony then we can get oliseh, i agree with a supporting strike for hojlong, we can get atalanta lookmond, he can play behind striker and can strike too, he is a differnt king of striker than hojlong and very clinical, reminds me of Aguero

Just get Tosin on a free and todibo and Anselmino for 10m from boca or pick one of Tosin and Anselmino. But its likely we'll lose 3 defenders this summer since Evans, Varane and likely lindelof or maguire are headed out you need at least 3 defenders coming in. Then there's the midfield Onana would add some much needed physicality and Aerial presence amongst other attributes we'll need to keep Amrabat too for the squad and since it's likely Casemiro and Erikson are gone un the summer then we need a second striker Joshua Zirkzee or Guirassy would not be bad shouts at all and the if we sell all of Mason, Sancho, Pellistri and Antony or Amad then we can get Olise or someone better btu not before a proper left back.

I get it was just an example but I can’t understand why Onana keeps being mentioned. He is not technically skilled, just another workhorse, with subpar passing. We have to stop this trend (McT, Amrabat, Weghorst, Fred, etc) at United and start recruiting players that have technical qualities. Look at the players in some of the top 5 lists out there: Rodri, Rice, Kimmich, Kross, etc. ALL highly technical with great passing skills. NONE is just a workhorse.

Center-Back:
Piero Hincapié (Bayer Leverkusen): A young and promising center-back who has shown great potential in the Bundesliga.

Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen): Another solid defender who is reliable and offers a strong physical presence at a reasonable price.

Right-Back:
Tariq Lamptey (Brighton & Hove Albion): Known for his pace and attacking ability, Lamptey could be a great addition to United’s defense without a huge financial outlay.

Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen): As previously mentioned, he is an excellent option who is known for his offensive contributions.

Defensive Midfield:

Ibrahim Sangaré (PSV Eindhoven): A robust midfielder who excels in breaking up play and offers great value for money.

Edson Álvarez (Ajax): Known for his versatility and defensive skills, he could provide excellent cover and competition in midfield.

Striker:

Gonçalo Ramos (Benfica): A young forward who has been prolific in the Portuguese league and could be available for a reasonable fee.

Jonathan David (Lille): A versatile attacker who can play across the front line and has a good scoring record in Ligue 1.

Wingers:
Noa Lang (Club Brugge): A talented winger who has been impressive in the Belgian league and offers creativity and pace.

Ismaïla Sarr (Watford): Experienced in the Premier League and Championship, Sarr is known for his speed and dribbling ability.

Agree they need to get the players that they know are not going to be used next season sold or released at start of window ASAP so they know what budget it for rest of summer window. CB is key with Varane leaving!

I was hoping Fernandez got his chance this season, but that’s already gone; Gore is such a talented kid, would like to see him get his chance to start making a claim as Mainoo’s Partner

It’s about the free transfers that are available as well. We could do with Tosin from Fulham yet we look set to miss out because of all this manager nonsense at the moment
