Good tips Andrew. Thanks. Do you know about the rules around live streaming on Facebook? That seems a bit hit and miss too.
ОтветитьThat was super helpful knowledge, thanks for the upload!
ОтветитьThank you a lot :)
ОтветитьGreat video and very helpful, thanks!
ОтветитьIf someone did want to check your music library, how would they be able to tell where the tracks came from? The the track name, tags, comments etc can be edited.
As a legal point I keep the file number from Beatport and Beatsourse in the comment. Others like Crate Connect and MyMP3Pool don’t have track identification numbers.
As another legal point, anyone wanting to check your music library needs a warrant as Computers have personal records and financial information.
I have a friend that rips all his tracks from sites and to be honest they sound awful. If a track doesn’t have a kbps of 256 or higher, it’s not worth paying on a big sound system.
Record pools are mostly 320 kbps and others you can download the WAV which is 1441 kbps.
As always it’s a pleasure to watch your videos Andrew.
Doesn't mixcloud have a video stream service these days? you have to subscribe to stream on it of course but just wondered if anyone has used it and have any views?
ОтветитьYou buy your music from Beatport or ... dj.... what ? :) i could not understand.
ОтветитьAwesome vid as always my man. Religious viewer here. I neeeeeeeeed to buy your course!!!
ОтветитьHi Andrew , " Just a little random video " haha, it covered a Massive chunk of realiy usefull information , thanks for the explanation .
ОтветитьI really appreciate your honesty. I really like the video series you are doing, super useful tips . Thank you!
ОтветитьYou're so positive it's awesome! Also you're my favorite channel for DJ tutorials. Keep on mixing!
ОтветитьThis was timely! You covered a bunch of things I'd been wondering about.
Still curious though about obligations for people who play outside of a club/festival environment, eg. mobile djs , and those who run internet radio shows. Do they pay a fee to APRA or some such organisation?
Thank you for the info great video
ОтветитьOn BPM Supreme some songs like for example, The Giver by Duke Dumont, sounds crappy. Just make sure the songs are high quality before playing live
ОтветитьThank you for the helpful information.
ОтветитьHey, I actually did have the music royalty people monitor my set in a club one night. I think it was more for royalty’s than copyrights though.
ОтветитьGreat idea, thanks! How long would you say is enough time to let it be checked - should I schedule it for 1 day, a week..? I’ve had videos on Facebook pulled down AFTER 2 YEARS for copyright so hopefully it doesn’t take them that long 😆
Ответитьunderground music from 2002 could have copyright strike?
ОтветитьSo if you are putting all this work into your channel right, making all these mixes and great videos...
That's a lot of your time isn't it. So, if you can't monetize your channel/ videos then how do you make money from your channel?
Solution to your solution—just drop the tracks you want to use into a blank FCP or Premiere timeline, export to MP4 and upload quickly—adjust as needed. No need to kill yourself doing the same set over and over again (especially pre-planned lol that's bad enough as it is).
Ответить🔥🔥
ОтветитьYou are promoting an artist when you dj so are entitled to some payment imo. Social media which pays content creators/owners and users for shares/reshares, likes, etc makes copyright violations obsolete because the creator/owner gets paid when people share/reshare the songs/videos/etc on those social media platforms.
ОтветитьThat's precious information, you're amazing Thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much brother 🙏. Absolutely brilliant info!
ОтветитьI don’t understand anything
ОтветитьExcellent video, thank you! You always seem to answer exactly the questions I have (and some I didn't know I had).
ОтветитьLove the idea of scheduling out the rough draft! I was starting to get worried that id have to redo a ton of final copies. Do you know if this method is still reliable being two years after this video was posted?
ОтветитьNKT
ОтветитьPro Tip, you can trim the section. I had 2 on one video. It took about a day to remove the song. But It worked on. It was a small hard cut. But nothing that bad.
ОтветитьThank you thank you thank you THANK YOU T H A N K Y O U!!!! Truly appreciate you sharing this. Also your energy is amazing! Cheers
ОтветитьMy aim is for Mixcloud uploads.
ОтветитьI can say that SoundCloud WILL delete your mix if A N Y T H I N G from Universal Music/Calderstone Productions is used, as It happened to me on SoundCloud. The offending track? The Beatles! “The Ballad Of John And Yoko”!
ОтветитьVery Professional.. I like 👍
Ответитьthere should be a split between the artist and content creator in my opinion, the content creator obviously put time and effort into the video as well as the artist put time and effort into the song, the content creator's video is also promoting the artist by using their music as well as the content creator needs music for their video, so in all fairness hopefully in the future music rights owners and content creators start doing a split on the content created 😊😊💯💯 Thoughts anyone?
