Wow, these temperatures were brutal. I hope someone showed you some love, but that area is known for really snobby, privileged people. I absolutely love Truckee. Truckee is a little more laid back than the lake. Was Jax still there by the tracks? Even Backpackers can get full on that restaurant. Incline Village and South Lake Tahoe have some ski hostels, but that is still skiing season so I doubt you would be able to find accommodation available. I can't wait for next week... I am paying you are into warmer weather, but avoiding the severe weather that has been coming through here. ❤🙏😊
