Such a unique sounding artist. "Big sky country" is my favorite from him
ОтветитьWhat a voice it was an honor and a pleasure to have worked for him
ОтветитьSoulful. Tormented.

ОтветитьI’ve loved Chris Whitley’s music for 30 years. God bless his soul and family. Eric Watson
ОтветитьChris was a Mystic
ОтветитьEveryone can relate to this song.....unless you haven't been born!!
ОтветитьOne of his best full band performances. Not too loud. Great job guys!
ОтветитьChris transports me.
ОтветитьYes. Just oozes talent. Love him
ОтветитьLove how Mr. Whitley flips into head voice. Beautiful.
ОтветитьTalented tortured soul. Beautiful man. Love you Chris. Rest in Peace.
ОтветитьIt's like listening to an entire band of heroin addicts! They are tuned into some great stuff but just can't quite pull it off!
ОтветитьMe too!
ОтветитьRaw..emotion..life.soulfully turned into incredible art..music!
ОтветитьMr. Whitley moves me from head to toe. Hope to sing with him in Heaven.
ОтветитьBeautiful. Soulful. Tender. Rockin'. I love you Chris ❤
ОтветитьGreat performance of a great song.
ОтветитьHe tasted life and wrote about it as it was happening.
ОтветитьThis song and Dust Radio are my anthems.
ОтветитьWow… great sympathetic band support here. One of a kind—thank u for posting—be great to see more from this date
ОтветитьWe miss you, Chris.
ОтветитьSuch a great artist one of a kind👌
ОтветитьLove this song. This is my favorite version.
ОтветитьAn amazing artist . He really was..
ОтветитьWat a brilliant song👏👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьHe's the best I never experienced and don't know why not many I haven't!!!Fortunate Son
ОтветитьUn verdadero exponente de la mejor musica . Un gran artista
ОтветитьI saw him at the Park West in Chicago in the early 90s
Just a guitar and a wood box with a mic in it he taped his foot on the box for a bass drum sound
Awsome
Genius. 🍉
ОтветитьI used to alternate happy hours with Chris at the Sun Mountain Cafe in the Village way back in 1988. We worked different evenings, so I got to sit and watch him a few times. He used to just lay a microphone down next to his stomp box and play the hell out of his ancient National Steel guitar. It was an education.
Ответитьno words .. RIP Chris thank you for your music and gifts to all of us
ОтветитьThe man was an incredible artist that didn’t get the recognition he deserved.
ОтветитьAbsolute monster
ОтветитьI’ve listened to him over the years but this is the first time I’ve heard this song. I’m completely floored. The most soul crushing song and performance ever.
ОтветитьWho’s he keep looking at over there?
ОтветитьBass player is so good
ОтветитьThis is his prime.
ОтветитьRIP Chris. You remain in my heart.
Ответить3am, San Jose rehearsal room floor, with 3 of my best friends. Good times
ОтветитьMystical Troubadour.
ОтветитьThat guitar melody at the end, like in so many of his songs, always seems like it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard. Until the next time. And the next. Even after 30 years. Hope you’re playing somewhere else brother. 💔
ОтветитьDaniel Lanois knew how good Chris was. Lanios is one of the best producers out there, and not to mention, a damned good musician in his own right. He has continued the legacy with Trixie.
ОтветитьWoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHumble Chris Whitley!
Ответить2021!!!!!!!
ОтветитьBig Sky Country after that!
ОтветитьIf he collabed with Jeff buckley thatd just be great
ОтветитьI’ve never witnessed perfection in rock n roll, but this is as close as it gets....said with a massive, welling, tear in my eye.
