I'm just happy that with SOD I don't care as much as I did in 2019, I'm making my dads 2004 night elf warrior thats going deep prot, and I'm enjoying it. Don't care about world buffs, consumables, etc. But it's also classic so it's easy regardless of what you do

You are the only one of the Big 4 SoD YT'ers (CBK, ScotteJaye, and MetaGoblin being the others) who saw the cost for Dual Spec in the text the dwarf said and reported it. the only thing I NEED is smite priest, shockadin and shaman tank became a reality, PLS Blizzard let me DPS as a holy priest instead of making me an edgy shadow priest

Rogues won't be able to pick the Scholomance door, but what about blacksmiths or engineers with arcanite skeleton keys or seaforium charges?

Very ready for phase 3. Loved phase 1. Thought phase 2 was decent.

There's something a lot of people seem to be overlooking the possible full implications of: this phase has totally new weapon models datamined. In previous phases, it's been pretty clear that SoD didn't have any real access to an art team of its own and had to repurpose and remix existing models, effects, and icons for everything they wanted to do, like a romhack. These new models suggest that SoD has been successful enough to warrant assigning some artist time to create wholly new stuff for it.

Some people expected more "Classic+" stuff from SoD, like wholly new areas or dungeons instead of just remixes, and that always seemed pretty unlikely to me given the apparent lack of artists on the project. It's a long way between that and just some new weapon appearances, but the fact they apparently have at least some access to artists now when they never did before is one step towards that.

Intressting, if you read the text on druids new rune gore it says that lacerate have a chance to reset the cooldown on mangle. Does that mean that they will change so lacerate and mangle have different runeslots?

Warrior taste for blood rune needs to allow for overpower to be used in any stance IMO.

Exactly same here. Lad is few days late and news is old at this point. But his way of articulating himself and the news is unparalleled imo, so therefore always a view from me watching the wille content from beginning to end . Big love!

I wonder about this version of gladiator stance... wasn't it originally "no threat" from protection abilities like shield slam? It seems like a 10% reduction may not cut it if you're spamming devastate and shield slam procs... I mean there are a whole bunch of % damage increases to work with here.
Also, can thunder clap crit and cause deep wounds? That was the highest source of damage for glad in WoD.

u can die and pass through the scholomance gate. you can solo die as well. the compoun has a roof. just jump over it repeatedly. using skull of impending doom also sppeds it up

So you grouped ZG in the "1 week lockout" mention, is it confirmed ZG will go from 3 days to 7? Im okay with that especially if the drop rate and gear stats are upgraded as well.

I gotta say, I'm not huge on the Mage runes. Same with paladin. I wish they'd give paladins as much love as they give shamans. I've been feeling really mixed on Paladin besides prot. I keep bouncing between paladin and rogue this phase especially since I want to tank, and I've been mixed on Rogue tank.

wonder how the level 50 Warrior Quest will work for this, seeing that all the Warriors will need the balcony sub-bosses for the feathers

They need to have the sod team focus only sod and not any of the other projects. They seem to be doing great things and if they could dedicate all their time to sod imagine the stuff they could do.
