The DPS of a regular bolter raises by 10 due to fire damage, meaning you have a regular bolter with the DPS of a storm bolter without any of the stormbolter downsides. And because that isn't overpowered enough, they gave it as weapon mod for the regular Veterans. Every Vet that can use a Bolter or a Bolt pistol can slot the fire effect.

I have been waiting some time for these guys to add these Hell Forged Demonic Bad Asses into the game, this is the best thing they add so far too, but minus certain graphical issues, I'd say there worth the price, some might think it will be op. but given time, some patches & Emperor forbid nerfing, were are on the right track, the developers are doing good it would seem, slow, but still just looks at this guy, all he need now is the Hell Bolter, yeah I know some might criticize me but come on its obvious its 40K meets Marvel's Ghost Rider & Dark Horse's Spawn, hopefully we will the Tactical Dreadnought Terminator, Librarian, Eldar Autarch, Warp Spider & Ranger one of these days! :D

That Helmet looks shit... the rest of the model looks pretty close to the concept art and it definitely looks more awesome than the possessed.

Another idiotic feature for broken game. 25k rts for no ranged weapon possesed marine and same for flaming round shooting Damned legionary. Last attempt to milk playerbase before pathetic end. 24h peak -938 LOL.
I would also like to point that during early acces I paid for game. Its infographic told me about heroes and veteran classes. Now they charge insane ammount of cash for them. After going f2p even when they said f2p was cancelled with open world idea. Now second infograhic on steam just dissapeared like they never promised anything.

i dont play this game so i might be asking a dumb question..but how is it only a expensive skin if it actually does more damage? would that not make it pay 2 win?

$24 for a Legion of the Damned skin... previewed by a guy that has very lack luster knowledge of the 40K universe :/ it's painful

The 2D fire and the bolter suck. The bolter looks like one any space marine uses. The LotD bolters looked demonic, like Ghost Rider customized it for them.
