I changed to NBC after the F1 race and Joey was already in the winner's circle! Almost eliminated to last 4 standing. 😅

Im just mad that Haley's crew chief said he was good on fuel, but then they still pit. I almost won a bunch of money with him in the top 10 lol. Still a good race. I've been watching the in-car cams and listening to the radio broadcast since I dont have TV, and I love it. Seeing out the windshield instead of an overhead view really shows a better perspective of what's actually happening i think

Logano has always been great at doing these things. a great call from his crew chief.bell had the dominant car,but we all can names many races where the dominant car didn't win

Fuel strategy is all part of it. Logano and several others were able to make one less pipt stop and that was the difference. It helps that Joey is real good at it.

As. Joey fan let me correct you Kenny. He stayed up in the top 5 top 10 all day until 3 stage. Another correction- this is Joey’s 4th win at Vegas. Won Vegas in 22 to Championship. In 2018 Joey won Martinsville to go on to his 1st Championship!!

As a 50 year NASCAR fan, I hate fuel mileage racing. It’s not racing & reminds me of F1. Where are all the late cautions today like they’ve been throughout the year?

This is the worst outcome to this race that was possible. Ford had to have cheated to get the 22 in this round in the first place. Blaney winning would have been good to guarantee a Ford in the final 4, but the 22 absolutely sucks. Now the best 4 do not have a chance to be there at the end.

So if Logano wins a 3rd championship does that put him in the Jeff Gordon, Stewart, Petty category? Or does he win 3 because of the play offs? Does he win 3 under the old system? Think about it let’s say BJ Mcloud wins the Daytona 500 next year and runs full time and is last in all the regular season races but he’s in the play offs! Did Harrison Burton belong in the playoffs? Does the regular season mean anything anymore? Remember win and in! The 3 should’ve been in a win is a win right? NASCAR says win and in!

Steve L was spot on with when Bell would catch Joey and he said the second to last lap…. Bell I feel is second to Larson on wheeling a car…. No one has the right to pick apart on Bells minor mistakes coming through the field bc he is a boss

Get rid of grass to dangerous. Can paint grass, race sponsors. Or go gravel traps like F1😁

Absolutely no place for grass at a high speed race track! I hope nascar acts before somebody is seriously injured.

I loved the finish of that race. I'm not illegal fan. I was just happy to see a more natural finish instead of overtime where someone gets crashed on a restart or something dumb happens.

From Belle running one second faster and gaining like crazy to Ryan Blaney pushing his teammate and helping them pass Suarez. Those last several laps were thrilling to me.

On that graphic with the racetrack showing the dots following each other, you would think there was absolutely no way that Bell get to him. He did.

Talk about a dichotomy of highs and lows in the last week, for Joey.
Leaves the track last week outside the cut line and out of the run for the championship. Then hears the news a few hours later that he’s back in the chase for the cup.
He shows up this week to Las Vegas and gets points in the first two stages, but it’s not a dominant car. He wasn’t too happy with the way the 22 car was feeling at the beginning of the third stage, and then a very timely caution comes out barely in the zone of the max fuel mileage of the car. The team gets a decent set of adjustments applied, and that set Joey up to do what Joey does best. This lets him run just hard enough to maintain a good position, but to also maximize fuel economy. What a race, what a week.

In terms of the teammates working together. We saw something like that earlier this year with Joe Gibbs cars at gateway. I think it was Bell and truex working together.

We also saw this last year with Reddick and Wallace. If I remember correctly Bubba was a few laps down but had new tires late in the race and he was pushing Reddick.

How does he do it? Raceing is more luck and money than talent. Other sports take more athleticism. That’s my opinion.

Herm. It was a good race. Not the way I wanted it to end but it was good. I was hoping Bell would have won. Sorry - can’t stand the cry baby (in my opinion). Being a Larson fan, it’s to bad about his run. But how about Alex Bowman? He’s still giving everyone a run for their money. I hope he gets some redemption. Again, congrats on your win. Fuel mileage races at super speedways are the only great thing left in super speedway racing…..

Kenny, this was an exciting race today.

Logano has always been the fuel mileage expert. He perfected coasting with his engine off during caution flags, only starting it to keep up, then shut it off again. There are no rules against it! Most everyone does it now. Saves a lot of fuel.

Any race that involves the lead cars being close together @ the end, is exciting, especially knowing the trailing car is faster

I think your neglecting to include a major caveat;
If any of the bottom 4 win the next 2,then Bell or Larson don’t get in

Attendance was abysmal. I think the future of NASCAR is in jeopardy.

Larson fan happy for him to get 11 after going two laps down. Let’s go for number ✌🏻. Don’t like fuel races but good job to Penske.
