Btw, no such thing as over the top when it comes to quality. You will appreciate everything you put in and regret everything you thought about but didn’t put in. Just sayin!
ОтветитьLooking awesome Davo
ОтветитьI wish I had 10% of your talent and energy.
ОтветитьNew subscriber 👍🏻.. Excellent work 👌🏻
ОтветитьGets robot lawnmower, immediately uses as tunnel train engine. 😂
ОтветитьLooks great! Love the detailed brick work
ОтветитьIf being “over the top” makes for more video footage, then Dave I want all the “over the top” work you are willing to do.
ОтветитьBunker is starting to look beautiful! The arch is a touch a class, great job!
ОтветитьGreat episode
ОтветитьKeeping strait visual lines is never going over the top!
ОтветитьCan you show everybody where my room is going to be?
ОтветитьIf I understand correctly, you're gonna put a toilet in there. Have you already done the plumbing for that?
ОтветитьGreat video love the attention to detail proper workmanship its great having a swift machine I love mine
ОтветитьOCD rules!
ОтветитьIt was probably OTT to cut and space the arch, but as you, rightly, said, you’re going to be the one sitting there having a beer, and, if it’s wrong, it will nag your nuts off.
Keep up the good work, and don’t worry about making this a project you are going to love, rather than worry ‘Is this too much for digging a hole?’
Just found your channel and binged all your bunker vids in one night. Top work!
ОтветитьLove your work Dave. I think you need a boom gate flashing light and bells . When that trolley gets moving
Ответитьi think its your house and your the one doing the work so its all in how nice do you want it to look if your happy with it then i am if i was doing the work for my self i wouldnt stand for half ass work looking good
ОтветитьHi man, im sure youve been asked this before, but how come your bunker is so shallow? it looks like the roof will be inches below the grass-layer
ОтветитьTop job nice gauged arch well done 👏
ОтветитьHere from Facebook, you earned yourself a new subscriber
ОтветитьAlso I completely understand the cutting of the bricks, that would drive me bonkers as I was having a beer 😂
Ответитьthat entrance to the tunnel is looking just perfect, loved it.
ОтветитьGreat progress!
IMO if you want the subscriber count to go higher you need to polish the video making part. It's a bit rough around the edges. Study the rythme and structure of Colin's video. The plans he makes and so on. Not easy but would be worth it I think if you want to change the order of magnitude of subscribers.
Cheers
If i could subscribe twice i would, can't wait for the next video davey boy. Brisbane aus
ОтветитьDo you need planning permissions for a build like this?
ОтветитьDid you get Tom Lamb to dig out your bunker?
ОтветитьDo you have to do planning for this?
ОтветитьGreat video Dave. You're right and it's looking brilliant 👍
ОтветитьGreat video... and taking your time to make things to a "top quality" level is not over the top, its spot on. Very well done and i can't wait to see the finished product. Cheers from Australia.
ОтветитьDave, it's your Mancave and you can have it the way you want, even if it's hard to do lol
ОтветитьUnbelievable Dave fair play to you from Ireland. Would love to be liveing near by to help u out 💪👍when ever you would need it.
ОтветитьJust wondering, Why not have the waterproofing on the outside? Is there an advantage to waterproofing the inside? Cool project. Subscribed.
ОтветитьJust a suggestion, recess the train tracks into the concrete through the standing area so you dont have anything to trip over.
ОтветитьCutting each brick for the arch is well worth the effort.
I am a 59 year old bricklayer and I can tell you it was the right thing to do.
The other way is exceptable but not really for facework.
I do the same thing as you when I'm restoring arches for spillway's or bridges, etc, when I'm doing volentry brick work restoration on canals and ralways in the UK.
I want the restored brickwork to look correct to me and people looking at in in one or two hundred years time.
Will the tunnel entrance be hidden behind a movable fireplace? This is absolutely awesome to follow along watching, will you have a recess for your 100k subscribers plaque in the build?
Ответить‘My fridge is going to drive around the room’? You are a legend Dave 😂
Ответитьperfect, you have many great skills
ОтветитьIdk what your final plans are, but consider "solar tubes" for lighting or spending some coin on a quality lighting system. Natural lighting can be "piped" underground by way of flexible relective tubes. You could hide them pretty much anywhere. Downside to the Fruze bunker is the black walls and the poor lighting. Makes a pretty large room look small, imo.
ОтветитьWhy not put gravel on the outside of the concrete? Add yo the drainage.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you make a human-sized tunnel?
ОтветитьIt kind of becomes a giant pizza oven
ОтветитьImpressive Dave, new subscriber just for the effort and entertainment, but the detail is biblical. I hear what you say about planning, not the quickest ppl to deal with, lets leave it there.
ОтветитьLooking good Dave I’ve been really busy but I’ve come in to see how you’re getting on I’m a labourer these days and have a little bit of experience with a few trades ever want a extra set of hands ide absolutely love to help make this happen no charge
ОтветитьDave, that is looking great. The attention to deal on the insulation, brick work, tunnel arch is splendid. Can’t wait to see the entire project completed…
ОтветитьI've binge watched all your bunker videos Dave, having been recommended from watching Colin Furze's projects.
Brilliant this Dave. Very impressed with your work.
