What do you think about, when possible, moving off the line of attack towards the shooters strong hand since we know, like you've said before, the gun is going to move towards the path of least resistance, and recoil towards the support hand or support side for rifles. That should minimize the risk of getting hit with follow up shots, especially against amateurs and novices.

In case I ever get attacked by an old goat in Walmart parking lot driving one of the electric carts I now know what to do. Move left while dumping six rounds in him then assess and holster and walk away.

just today reading about the Comanche Quanah Parker in the book Empire of the Summer Moon. One story where several troopers were retreating from Quanah and his Comanches, Private Gregg's horse stumbled. Quanah used Gregg's silhouette as a shield from the other troopers fire, Gregg's didn't pull the lever on his carbine enough, jamming the cartridge, and Quanah then shot him point blank because he didn't move, switch to his colt six shooter, or hit the deck and allow his buddies to fire over him. real story. Good stuff these quick tip vids are great. keep up the good work.
