The disco version of Minnie the Moocher is horrendous. So glad it wasn’t used!
ОтветитьThe movie was of many genres. Action, comedy, drama, musical, spiritual. I think this is why it appealed to so many people. Such an epic.
ОтветитьI remember the good times we had on car forums discussing the best car chase movies ever. It always ended with the Blues Brothers and the original Gone In 60 Seconds..
Ответить"I've always loved you" 😆
ОтветитьAh! Those were the times. I used to go to the Valhalla on Fridays, dressed up with my friends. We considered ourselves the 3rd generation, as we took over from the second generation who took over from the first generation that originally started performing on the stage and shouting lines while the movie played. We'd also all go to the Rocky Horror screenings on late Saturday nights. I ended up getting an old chair and exit sign when the Valhalla shutdown.
ОтветитьO God of divine acceleration, don't fail me now!
ОтветитьNot a bad take for a $27,500,000 budget and a worldwide gross $115,229,890
ОтветитьGraduation Summer. One of my all-time favorites.
ОтветитьF Mann Theaters
ОтветитьYears ago at Best Buy I bought the steelbook. It was the movie I picked to buy. I get it home. There 15 minutes of footage I’ve never seen. “Extended Version”. Now I can only watch the extended. Elwood quits his job. They sabotage the police cars at the gig. If you’re a big BB fan you have to see the extended version.
ОтветитьMight want to check the spelling of the captions first
Ответить"See you next Wednesday"
ОтветитьConsidering we've never met, that's pretty accurate. There's 19 things I don't know about the Blues Brothers, and 17 of them are here.
ОтветитьWasn't funny then, not funny now. Unless you're 12.
ОтветитьI do love this movie but it's very bad form for the video to say there were only minor injuries when there was a death in the filming of one scene.
ОтветитьThe 21st thing you didn't know. Netflix banned it because they claimed it was cultural oppriation for two white guys forming a blues band.
Ответитьyou forgot a cameo by Joe Walsh. First prisoner to jump on the table at the end.
ОтветитьGoes to show what critics know. The musical performances alone are priceless. Everything about that movie was pure genius. I'm sure mainstream media didn't get it. They create nothing just criticize others that do, pathetic. Pick any movie the critics rave about, and you can be sure its crap.
ОтветитьGreat great movie love it
ОтветитьYeah the music was amazing and to all the musicians that pass may they RIP
ОтветитьGreat info but the repetitive and disinterested sounding delivery makes for a difficult listen.
ОтветитьThese clowns just ripped off Sam and Dave. I find these guys so cringy.
ОтветитьSome stuff here I didn't know. This channel does a lot of research.
ОтветитьThis started out as a spoof skit on SNL. But the stupid ignorant fans took it seriously.
ОтветитьWow, a film about cucks who worship negroes! Awesome. Boomers must have loved this.
ОтветитьOne of the best films ever. A time capsule of legendary talent.
ОтветитьI like the pink, I wouldn't be opposed to also seeing a blue 😂
ОтветитьNo, go watch Minty. His videos on movies are the best.
Ответитьthe best RAW HIDE cover ever.
ОтветитьThis movie gave my grandfather and I a stronger connection. He grew up on jazz and saw many of the greats live and in person in the UK, where there was no colour bar. His old records where the soundtrack to my childhood.
ОтветитьUntill today i ask myself; why John Goodman?!
Everybody knows there was only actor who could play that part.
Predominantly black cast??!! Willy two bit Hall and Matt Guitar Murphy are 2 of what, 20???
ОтветитьOne of my all time favorite movies.
ОтветитьI truly can't imagine a disco version of Minnie the Moocher...
ОтветитьI love this film ❤
I had a VHS tape of it and wore it out😂
It's scary to think how much racism was still knocking about into the 1980s 😢
ОтветитьI'd forgotten how awesome this movie is!
ОтветитьThis just shows how movie critics are so out of touch with what real people like and want in a movie...I loathe movie critics...their opinions are about as useful as sidewalk slugs, and leave a lot bigger slime trail.
ОтветитьPEE WEE Hermin was the waiter. ... That being said, Princess Leia holding a M-16 Is pretty damn HOT, maybe hotter than her Jabba Slave Bikini. It's a toss-up!
ОтветитьIt was a mission from God.
ОтветитьI hate Illinois Nazis
ОтветитьBlues Brothers? Your kidding me, what about Alan Wilson and Bob Hite from Canned Heat they Were the Real’Blues Brothers’ not these pair of jokers!
ОтветитьThe narrator failed to mention Carl Weathers as the diner's line-cook and former band-member; and Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) as their waiter in the formal dining room.
ОтветитьThose guys had so much power. Neither one could sing for shit yet they put together a band of classic musicians and toured, then made a movie.
They actually got the legendary Brian Wilson to go surfing for a little video, back when he hardly left his house.
My brother saw their show when they came to town, they played two shows, he said it was so good they bought more tickets and stayed to see it again.
Meh, nothing I didn't already know
ОтветитьGreat info however the narrator's voice is quite monotone and droning
ОтветитьAretha Franklin is NOT "one of the greatest singers of all time". Ridiculous statement.
ОтветитьNew Oldsmobile's out early this year
