You´ve got a good workshop well equipped , clean and tidy . Welding , machining , you´re the man machine , greetins from spain , great job
ОтветитьKertus does not go into town Friday night and get into trouble. He keeps his nose to the grinde stone!.
ОтветитьGreetings from the UK. Absolutely superb, enjoyed watching very much. From failure mode analysis through every process to completed repair. Excellent filming and great camera shots. I take my hat off to you sir.
ОтветитьWhy did you not add the shroud surrounding the grease port? Without the shroud the bolt is more likely to take damage and be snapped off?
Ответитьdont think i would of used a wire feed flux core for that, and if i did id use a wire brush to clean off the slag, no doubt there is porosity and inclusions in those welds now.
ОтветитьIncroyable toutes ses maitrises!
ОтветитьThe broken eye collection is incredible...!
ОтветитьNice to see someone who uses the whole rod!
I don’t understand why it would fail if the crack goes all the way through? Wouldn’t you just grind it out and weld it up!?
Pure welding porn ❤❤❤❤
First pass (root)was on the safe side , not that that is a bad thing.
Then the hard pawn starts .😂😂
I love it when people understand their craft like you.
Man do i miss my uncle , he would have loved this as much as i do.😊
And that is the biggest compliment I can give, that man was a welding wierdo❤❤.
Watching this is like watching him 😊
Ps he had aprox 50 years of experience
Kudos. you are one hell of a machinist and welder...love your vids.......
ОтветитьIf the cracks went all the way through, it would be visible from the inside?
ОтветитьMy dad purchased an old machine from 1950 I think it was, so precise. Its insane these machinery tools. Love the video!!
ОтветитьMakinshitouttadafiresaacreation
ОтветитьSo addicted to this channel. Your videos are always so well done - you're a good team.
Ответитьwhy are not do END-PT?
ОтветитьNice job, but what caused the original part to break like that?
ОтветитьOlá faço parte da mesma profissão adoro os seus vídeos aprendo muito valeu fica de boa
ОтветитьI know this comment is two years late, but I'm impressed that you took the extra effort to save your customer a lot of money. I imagine many shops would simply have replaced the barrel end and passed the cost on to the customer.
ОтветитьYou are the best👍😎
ОтветитьBloopers 😂
ОтветитьNever welded with that rod before comparable to what other rod
ОтветитьWhy do your welds have slag? Is it the particular wire you’re using that causes it?
Ответитьthings i never noticed on the first go around. the blue milk crate. lol
ОтветитьHELL YEAH Barbie Girl & Boy .THANK YOU . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌
Ответить素晴らしい技術ですね👍
ОтветитьI was about to have a complete melt down and ask how you werent using any kind of coolant/lubricant when cutting the broken eye off lmfao then you turned the the water on
ОтветитьA beautifully made video, show casing truly impressive skill.
Thanks, I enjoyed.
Thank you for showing the preheat of the welding fill area. I see so many that do not preheat and don't realize the need or future if they don't.
ОтветитьWhat a great dog.
ОтветитьI’ve asked you before……..what Australian welding qualifications do you hold?
ОтветитьGreat Video
Loved every moment of it..
All that Lathe work, A truckload of welding, Boring I find it hard to believe that all of that was just 1day of work!! it's amazing nonetheless. Being able to do so much all by yourself!
ОтветитьA tip for Karen... when you speed up the video put a counter for us to know how mutch time passed... (just saing) dificult stuff...
ОтветитьGreat job everyone.
ОтветитьAbsolutely awesome video! Loved how the camera angles showed the work being done. Master class in machining!
ОтветитьExcellent program truly enjoyed this magnificent repair!
ОтветитьWho could you not use some kind of xray machine or sonar device to check how deep those cracks are instead of grinding so deep , because in the process of welding new sresses are introduced into the metal and also the metal composition of the weld being different also introduce new stress in terms of expansion and contraction of different material
Ответитьyou’re a beast on the stick welder mate
ОтветитьI thought I had a mig welder like that, but it turned out to be a Karcher washer.
ОтветитьThanks Curtis, love watching this shit getting done properly by somebody & whilst being hungover 😅 Best part for me was explaining that the flame cutting hardens the material so you use the heavy duty inserts on the lathe to get through that part. Has that engineering finesse only hands on work will teach you.
ОтветитьQuite a difference from the videos we see from India doing something similar, with workers dressed in what look like pyjamas and open toe flip flops sitting on the floor, with no heath and safety in sight
Ответить45 mins seriously? 5 mins worth.
ОтветитьMetallica level
