The way you pronounce his name is the exact way the Thistledown boy mispronounces it after Drizzt introduces himself for the first time in Sojourn. Drizzt later recounts it durning one of his many battles to keep the "hunter" at bay. I found that interesting.

Great take on Drizzt. He was a revolutionary character, though not really in a good way. Suddenly in the 90s everywhere you played D&D someone had that rare good drow PC who was a dual wielder. The trope was as tired as misunderstood pedophile vampires who only drank animal blood. And he gets more annoying as the novels go on as there really isn't much character development after the prequel trilogy.
