Live while we are living.
Ответитьgreat story, thanks for sharing
ОтветитьOK. I'll take 2.
ОтветитьLiving life without a significant other seems sad to me. No amount of money could replace my own precious, she is priceless. I hope it was not for him. I mean, isn't it willed to someone?
ОтветитьIs it for sale ?
ОтветитьWELL Beautifull You say-I say a tugboat lookalike, well about the V in the name, it comes from latin where U is often written as just as a V, thats it :-))
ОтветитьBaffling and tragic
ОтветитьGlorified tug boat
ОтветитьBeautiful boat? It's real ugly
ОтветитьIf you gain the whole world and lose your soul,
Where’s the profit?
26, ooo, ooo ? Buy it! You deserve it...imagine how much fun that would be !
ОтветитьHopefully he didn't suffer.
He seemed to prepare to enjoy his life to the fullest. That in itself was probably joy for him.
This is a sad story. Have to say that you produced this very respectfully for him, and showed an obvious somber tone while highlighting the beauty and quality of the ship, and being able to (tastefully) add some humour to it. That’s a tough set of things to mix into a story, but you most definitely nailed it! Well done.
Have to feel bad for him; that’s a REALLY young age to die, he was probably setting up his retirement to begin soon as he most likely knew he wasn’t handling stress of the business the way his younger self did. We truly DO get a “feeling” after 50 and our limitations tend to become more “in our face”. He was doing all the right things, but didn’t get the chance to put his plan into full action and begin enjoying the second half of his life. It’s a lesson EVERYONE should take from this…. how quickly and without warning your life can drastically change, or in this case…end. You need to really prioritize the truly important things, when you do, most would be amazed at how unimportant the things you thought were ultra important become. If this man could go back in time, I’d bet he would have been retired in his late 40’s and would have lived another 30+ years actually ENJOYING his life. In other words…. he would be actually living, not spending his time “working JUST to keep working”! If I had known then what I know now…. oh man, I would have done ALL OF IT differently, and no doubt I’d be much happier. Anyone under 50….. go talk to someone over 55….over 65…75 - ask them what they’d do differently; and then…. LISTEN to that advice. Who wants to die, alone, just as your dream yacht is launched?? Ugh. 🙁
Again… great job on this video, you handled it with grace & class. 😃👍☮️
What a very, very interesting boat. And inspiring too.
Without a doubt my favorite yacht you’ve ever featured. Should you get a chance to do a deep dive on this one, please do.
I’m sure many of your viewers would enjoy seeing the small details of a full-time floating residence: crew, power, food prep, how the car works, etc, etc.
Regards,
Marky
Nice boat, hope it finds a good home.
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time, life and effort. I sold my boats awhile ago, nothing is better than spending time with family and kids. Posessions can make life a bit more comfy, but it gets boring very fast. Your only real wealth is time, use it wisely.
Ответитьmay the man rest in peace!
ОтветитьShe's beautiful
ОтветитьI think this vessel will take berth amongst my dream boats. It's an explorer ship with all the needed cranes and space for the items needed to see the world. I'll be sailing her while I daydream of seeing the world. Fantastic vessel.
ОтветитьThat yacht is perfect. So many are very bling. I like the all business look of an explorer yacht.
ОтветитьOctopus Y/M traveled with 2 Black Mercedes Benz' G Class Wagons on board
ОтветитьYaY, Yacht Living News!!
ОтветитьI know I’ve watched too many yacht videos when my reaction to the $26 000 000 price tag is “wow! That seems reasonable.”
ОтветитьThe name is not confusing at all V in Latin sounds U
Spoiler alert: read it in Italian
I believe there is a Nordhavn that had a Mini onboard, not sure of the size, but significantly smaller than 42 metres.
Ответитьit is so nice tha you put the stories of yachts and their owners too
Ответить... this AvDACE is truly a Dream Yacht ... it just has the fantastic energy of a well outfitted Explorer Yacht ... does the tonnage over all be affected by weighty equipment aboard? ... such as scuba gear, & exploratory deep sea imaging equipment & office for communicating scientifically ... & what a bargain @ 26 mil' .. I would just snap it up, with all due respect for the previous owner & his life vision ... if I had the resources as a buyer, you could slap a 'SOLD' sign on it right away ... & I would certainly be a 24/7 live-aboard owner ... just to mention I did research the name & the closest I came up with is: Audace ... bold, spirited, ... often used to describe some forms of music ....
Ответитьshe is lovely. sad ending.
ОтветитьWhat a shame he didn't get to enjoy it more. I love the architecture; it has a riverboat look at the top.
ОтветитьI like this yacht a lot. Very industrial lines. 😊👍😘
ОтветитьI thought M/Y Lady S has a Rolls Royce Cullinan on board?
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful/sad story. I live full time aboard a 33ft pacemaker sport fisherman (built in 1979) and can only imagine how marvelous it would be to have such a place to live. I'm on the east coast of U.S. so 12 months aboard can be a challenge. Beautiful vessel. Someone will be delighted when they purchase this. (If they need a crewman, let me know!)
ОтветитьThe design has the look of East Asian freighters you see in abundance in HK and the South China Seas….
Ответитьand another one bites the jab,
ОтветитьI’m not into yachts etc but your professionalism, your journalistic excellence make every visit quite rewarding!
ОтветитьThat is a tragedy 😭😭😭😭🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
ОтветитьWhat a sad story....
ОтветитьA full time live-aboard? As a full time live-aboard myself, I must admit that my 30 year old 51’ Kha Shing M/V with a 1 ton dinghy crane just shrank a few inches while watching this. 😂 Unfortunate ending to the story, sounds like he was an interesting chap of sorts. I wouldn’t trade the blessed joy of being a father for any super yacht myself. My young daughter thinks our old boat is a super-yacht, hopefully she doesn’t see one any time soon! To each their own. The man obviously had great ambition for what he found joy in. RIP
ОтветитьI hope that someone else, perhaps family, can enjoy and make wonderful memories. That would be a nice legacy for this wonderful yacht.
ОтветитьAmazing video 👍🏼 great work
ОтветитьThe superstructure if that yacht looks like it was inspired by the western rivers Towboats in America. If you look up some of the river towboats like American Beauty, or Viking Queen, their wheelhouse look like smaller versions of this boats upper decks
ОтветитьHe went out at the top, doing what he loved. We should all be so lucky.
ОтветитьFlorida Bay Coasters of 55 feet have cars on board.
ОтветитьIf ghosts are real he is on that boat!
ОтветитьWhy do so many people extend yachts? Seems like adding a few meters wouldn’t be worth the trouble.
ОтветитьAnother super interesting video....I keep coming back to your channel for alot of reasons but I really appreciate you stick to the storyline and don't get caught up in sharing opinions about the ships or their owners or the design. So many people think today that opinions are important, they are not. But, I keep coming back for the storylines...Thanks E-Man!
ОтветитьI love how you crew are happy to completely disrespect the private spaces of the owner yet in the same breath refuse to allow footage of the crew spaces. Who do you think you are? The only reason that you are anywhere near these vessels is because of the good graces of the owners.
ОтветитьWas he vaccinated to death?
ОтветитьRegarding cars on boats, does anyone remember 'Moonmaiden II' from about '98 - 2000 ?
She had a mini Moke + crane on the aft deck.
The car had a Monaco reg plate.
We had a blast on that boat !
Does everything you do revolve around death and destruction? Are you one of the people on this godforsaken planet who hates happiness, and seeks the death or misfortune of others, due to your emptiness?
