The Pamban Railway crosses the tropical landscape of Tamil Nadu, the former Madras, for around 600 kilometers. Heavy storms and rain showers make the route a challenge for Indian Railways to this day. The film accompanies the "Rameswaram Express" over the notorious Pamban Bridge, the first bridge across the Indian Ocean.
ОтветитьU heard right, 30 people per day die on India’s railways. Wow.
ОтветитьI like these documentary videos. They give us an in-depth knowledge about something or a person.
ОтветитьLots of misinformation!!!
1. Long distance trains in India definitely have a loco driver and an assistant loco driver!! Looks like the shooting was fine by one crew (inside the loco) and the narration was by a completely different crew!!
2. They are showing shots of Srirangapatna railway bridge which is more than 400 kms away from this trains route)
Pakistanis are Indian settlers in afghan land / British establishment of Pakistan 1947 ! I don’t know they don’t like each other 😂
ОтветитьFirst video in my mother language
Ответитьwhy cant you show better part of Railway instead of showing delays and other thing, show the development, is this the way you are putting India, the forth largest economy in the world to the viewers ??
ОтветитьThis documentary is not titled correctly. If you want to highlight danger, please do so in the first few minutes; otherwise it’s Clickbait.
ОтветитьMost baseless documentary of British media with incomplete facts and misinformation 🤦♂️
ОтветитьThe whole documentry is misleading @freedocumentry you failed us
Ответить> 1000 female drivers
> 20 deaths a day
Hmmmm 🤔
Lovely 📄 documentary 📹 🚉. ❤
ОтветитьI wonder why Indian Railways don't provide a dignified uniform for loco pilots just like Japan...???
ОтветитьThe lady narrator made this like a dead program 😢.... Put some good narrator and relaunch this documentary please
ОтветитьNarrator lady's voice is annoying could have put a older man to narrate the story
ОтветитьTo the documentary maker, you still have a lot to learn about india, try evolving from your propagandist mindset.
ОтветитьIndians getting pissed….. caste is there everywhere. Lower castes do menial jobs even in south India
Ответитьfew wrong info:
1. Avg Train speed of 42KMPH is very high in standards of Indian train.
Truth: Most of Express trains in india has AVG speed of 70-90 KMPH.
2. Most of level crossings in India are unpaved.
Almost all Level Crossings in India are Paved and Manned
3. Quiet a few trains disappeared into ocean in this track.
I only know about that unfortunate incident of 1964.
I really don't know whether these little mistakes were unintentional or intentional
As per your documentary it's only the lower-class/untouchables that do the cleaning and other stuff, which is very surprising to me as on what grounds you came to this conclusion because there are no such criteria in Indian Railways,
All the positions are filled on merit basis where caste is never a criterion.
Whole documentary is misleading, all recruitment are happened on merit besis , even in cleaning or any technical or non technical work.
ОтветитьThat Labrador was over it lol
ОтветитьPamban bridge is now closed for safety reason, the new bridge should be ready 2025. Max speed on that old bridge was only 15 km/h. The new bridge is 3 metres higher over sea level that the old one.
ОтветитьI can tell India has improved their railways a lot!
ОтветитьNice share!
ОтветитьIt's a beautiful documentary but people's and city names are mispronounced.
ОтветитьAmazing film . The lady has a wonderful grasp of Indian names . Is she english or Indian ? 😍😍😍😍
ОтветитьThe driver is not the sole person in locomotive there is assistant loco pilot too ......rubbish documentary.,.even a school kid can do better 😅
ОтветитьVery foolishly made documentry with lots of misinformation, it seems the director of the documentry have not done any homework on this .....too bad
ОтветитьThe locomotives are not of colonial era, and how dare you assume the caste of the cleaning staff? Untouchability is non-existent in India and the cleaning staff has to undergo an entrance test even for cleaning stuff. Tracks do not have human excrement anymore as each and every coach is fitted with a bio toilet. So either get your information right or don't release outdated videos.
ОтветитьWell, Hatsoff to all Locomotive Engineers who are serving greatly in our beautiful railways.
ОтветитьThe information what documentary director is protecting uttar nonsense.
ОтветитьCompletely BIASED colonial mindset documentary. Shame on you German producers. Multiple factual errors:
1. wrong map of India shown in beginning
2. Hinted on overcrowded trains by saying this time train looks empty
3. Unnecessary jibe at colonial gift of untouchability from British- no, the railway jobs in 2020s are NOT based on caste for sewage cleaners!
4. Saying most of the tracks are from Colonial era- really?
5. Delay of more than 1 day on railways is rampant- seriously? Where are you taking your facts from? The Chinese Government? 😂
Seems we need to verify who funded this joke of a “documentary”.
Love it. This is more of a southern Indian travelogue than just a documentary about a railway. There's a recurring human touch throughout the filming blended with the beautiful landscape. Hope I'll get a visit someday of this beautiful land.
ОтветитьThe people from India are warm and friendly.
ОтветитьToday i went there the location is mjnd blowing
ОтветитьSuch a poorly researched documentary based on outdated concepts. Too many errors to bother.
ОтветитьWhat/Where is the proof that 30 people die everyday...You sold out journos to SATISFY YOUR MASTERS...CHANGE...CHANGE TO BECOME A BETTER HUMAN BEING..
ОтветитьNot seeta.... Its seetha..... സീത
ОтветитьTwo men with a fetish to be woman are another sex....ofop...😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьNo colonial trains or tracks exist. We have our own locomotive and bogies. Commentator should have studied Indian railways before making such vague comment.
ОтветитьThese vedio makers complain that in Afghanistan, no women are allowed to work. In India, they're complaining that women are working everywhere. Hypocrites of highest order. 😅
ОтветитьGet your facts right. There's no such thing as untouchables. Only the British promoted this idea when they invaded India.
Ответить"Women do the bulk of the heavy lifting"..... we all know that is a lie. Men, who can lift more, are not standing by and allowing the women to do the heavy work. Indian people are far more efficient than that.
ОтветитьTypical BBC type programme..discussing absurd issues...British built railways to suck up Indian resources and transport them to the ports. Real addition happened post independence..whether its conversion to broad guage or railway electrification. And 42 Kmph is NOT fast in Indian standards. Forget Rajdhanis or Shatabdis, even simple superfast trains cover large distances at average speeds of 60-65 Kmph. And none of the coaches or locomotives or lines are from the cursed colonial era..get your facts correct!
ОтветитьWhat’s dangerous about this??!
ОтветитьIt's Train Manager or Guard Not Conductor illiterate Anchor..
ОтветитьThat was the cutest little owl chilling on that log🥰
