I had a dirty dealer on one at New York New York in Vegas

As a pit boss I think this is funny, because I know I'm getting a call in the next 5 minutes telling me exactly how much this guy owes us lmao. If you take winnings you shouldn't, the casino is coming back for them. Tho for the record we give back money that was accidentally taken too. If it's a small amount we don't care, but if it's a good amount we are rectifying the situation.

In april in vegas a roulette dealer paid this guy $150 instead of $15. He didn't know his was using $1s vs $5s. He insisted he got paid wrong. Dealer said no. You good. The player felt like he was stealing. Talked to pit boss. Even he said its fine. The player wasnt happy because he got free money. He also accidentally touched his chips with the glass out - to this day he thinks the casino is after him...

This is why I think - if I ever actually gambled, that I'd set like a 'goal'.
Like, ok I have $X... my goal is to make $Y... the moment I hit that, I'm done.

No but's if's or perhaps'es... regardless of how 'good' or 'in the zone' I'm feeling - once that Y is reached, it's done.

This way, only 2 outcomes are possible.
Either I lose all (X),
Or I earn Y.

If I DO earn Y, next time I play, the X has to be lower than the profit.

I played zynga poker back then this way when I was a kid. While it didn't allow me to 'make it big' I was pretty much never going 'down' on my chips, only up (and was using a PART of the daily reward chips as X, so even if I lose it all on that day, I'm still in the positives).

The way we play ace can mean 1 or 10 and you cant stick below 16.

I had a dealer pay out an entire table one time because they busted with 22. Their cards were a 67 and they hit an 8. We all pretended we were just as bad at math while the dealer payed us.

I was playing craps last night and the dealer was giving me double payouts for an entire roll

Yea that threw me for a loop one time, so i guess some casinos their blakc jack rules state if one the first 2 cards contain and ace and its obviously not a black jack, they treat it as a one and keep pulling cards. This ive found actually fucks me over a lot more where id have something like 18 or 19, and dealer shows (17) and then draws till they reach past a true 17 and get a 20 or something screweing me over. Sometimes it helps but more often i think it gets me.
