I think sacrificing some logs to make charcoal is the better route to go rather than using slabs as a fuel source. Clearly there were a bunch of trees around so its not like wood was hard to come by.

Tip: if you see a baby zombie, don't try to kill just run a little and build a three blocks Pillar and kill him cause he can't attack you under the pillar👍

Tip: Instead of just sprinting try jump sprinting it’s a lot faster

Slabs aren't the best smelting source place logs at the top and 2 planks at the bottom then let it smelt then after that you get charcoal place 1 charcoal then place 8 logs at the top and now you have a stack of fuel and when you get to 1 charcoal do it again.

And when did you do a outpost you also have bad omen
