Ответитьfirst issue is there is no accurate list of ingredients. I'm not getting into the actual recipe, but the mention of lemon or vinegar makes me wonder. The final straw was the pouring into what looks like mason jars. No follow up on preserving or freezing. Seriously I consider this a most deficient recipe.

ОтветитьTomatoes coming in. Had delicious BLT’s+ but had to do something else. Made this sauce today for pizza and spaghetti. Turned out great for first try! Used onion powder (husband prefers), basil, T of sugar, and salt. 👍

We have over 30 tomato plants growing in our vegetable garden each year. We give tomatoes to friends/family/neighbors and also make tomato soup to freeze/can and have on hand until the next harvest season. I had never really found a good sauce recipe until now. I can't wait til our tomatoes are ready. I will be trying your recipe. Thanks.
ОтветитьDid this with cherry tomatoes didnt blanch them tho just sautéed them up with some garlic got it to a boil reduced heat let it reduce (steam off) to thicken

ОтветитьI feel like you don’t have to do that extra work into boiling them and cutting them like them, you can just cut them up into pieces and start cooking them with the onions and garlic.

ОтветитьNot quite sure but I heard when you blend the tomatoes it's chopping the seeds and that makes the sauce tastes bitter. Does any chef has an idea about this theory?
