With the squire it'll just ruin the classic blue-white colour scheme.

I honestly don't like the copper pick guard on either strat, but if you're going to do it then I'd recommend you put it on the blue.

I like the copper pickguard on the blue Strat. reminds me of a tort-shell guard I put on my sonic blue Jazzmaster. Also just found that straight edge too on amazon and ordered it. good price compared to the stewmac version. thanks!

Definitely on the white Strat. Not only looks better but also I really hate pearloid pickguards.

I would put the pick-guard on the Olympic white and look into maybe some lace/sensor dually pickups. The Gold/Gold is more vintage output and the Purple/Emerald is slightly hotter which I think would be better because I find the strat bridge to be a bit thin and could use a slightly fatter output. Plus I love the look of flat top pickups. If you wanted something more traditional/vintage maybe the Pearly Gates in the Seymour Duncan range?

I personally dig it on the blue. How about putting something interesting in it, like a SD 59/Custom Hybrid, or a Phat Cat?

why not try a Lindy Fralin Unbucker and coil tap for the bridge humbucker. theyre meant to be amazing for splitting as it give u the stronger coil on the split. plus you could review it for future vids :) keep up the good work man!

just watched the unboxing video and hopefully not to late but IMHO the white Strat would look better withe the new pickguard. I'm a little biased on Carvin/Keisel pickups, I thing the C22B in the bridge and AP11'S in the middle and neck. I built my own Carvin Bolt kit and made it a HHH with a twin rail HB in the middle and a C22B in the bridge and a C22J in the neck with a bridge on switch and coil split switches for each pup, 27 different posibilities and sounds awesome, any tone you want out of one guitar!
