Rarely comment, but your Ilur "Nomvula" is a thing of beauty - the craftsmanship is very obvious from this short video / pics & you look justifiably proud - fair winds & best wishes from the North Coast area of Northern Ireland.

Very nice. But better if sailed flat going upwind which can be accomplished by putting one's arse on the rail (obviously not done here.)

Beautiful job! I now wish I had gone with the sloop rig on my Ilur. I have a lug yawl "classic" Ilur. Next boat will have a headsail! Congratulations!

You call the boat a sloop, yes? However it looks to me like a Gaff rig... / Gunter rig type of thing? I'm probably wrong; but curious.
