How to Install Jupyter Notebook 7 | New Features Walkthrough

After the first step my laptop doesn’t shows the VERSION shown in your computer what should I do? It says it is 6.4.6 something

And it shows update update and update the jupyter notebook but when I do it won’t
And I’m using it in ANACONDA

Should I write command in anaconda prompt or in laptop command
And when I write it in anaconda it didn’t said it install the version
And when I did that in laptop command prompt it says
It is not available

To answer those who may be wondering about what terminal to use. You should use the command prompt NOT anaconda prompt. (I'm on windows 10, not sure what the equivalent is for Mac OS). Hope that helps. If you use anaconda prompt, when you check the version it still say 6 something. If "pip install notebook" doesn't work in your command prompt, try "python pip install notebook" (I'm not sure if it will work as mine worked first time but just a suggestion)

I played around with it a bit and I think I figured out all the issues. Let me know what your issue you is and I'll try and get back to you as soon as possible

hey, what if there pops up repeatedly a notfication which says that my file has changed and i need to either overwrite or reload my file

ho is having problems with anaconda, first fully uninstall V6 or lower, then install again, using normal console (not anaconda). then you will have V7

Thank you! my jupyter notebook version is 7.0.8, I configure the notebook.json in nbconfig, but line wrap is not work. There no promple when I use version 6.*.
