alpha male is a slang term to describe a person. It's not a scientific nor genetic meaning. It's describing a type of person and the one you portray is not an alpha but toxic male. Yes there is a difference

Wolves are just parents makes no sense. As someone who has lived with wolves and studied them there is 100% an alpha dog. You can see them pinning the other dogs down and peeing on them. There is absolutely a heirarchy. It doesn't mean the other dogs are less but someone has to lead the pack. My own best buddy was a beta wolf (also alphas tend to be female or the strongest). My wolf would literally DROP to the floor showing submission ANY time I walked by.. he showed me I was the leader. He was my house pup and it was very annoying behavior and of course I wanted him to stop bc as me being me it made me feel bad. But he never did. He loved me and wanted me to lead. Now whenever his sister came over she immediately took him down (though he was down before she could grab him) and KINDLY bite him on the neck and hold him down for a second before they went off to play. No fighting.. no aggression.. but she was 100% the dominant wolf. Neither were parents.
