My grandmother told me a story when I was a child about how she saw a woman dressed in white out in the pasture when she was very young. She said the woman walked around a bit, dropped something on the ground, then vanished. When I saw this video about the Woman in White, I immediately told her about it. She had never heard of it but said “Yes! That’s what I saw!” I asked her how old she was when it happened and she said “It was soon after my mother passed, so I was 6.”

I've tried to get sleep paralysis a lot and i can say you could get into such situation more by either trying to sleep while still refreshed/had a lot of sleep or sleep outside your sleeping habit.
First: try sleeping more than 8 hours, then 4 to 6 hours later force shut your eyelids trying to sleep.
Second: sleep on a fixated schedule, like 10pm-6am for a month or so. Then try sleeping arpund noon.
