Demonstration in Support of Domestic Violence Survivor Mariam Gevorgyan

On July 19, 2012, the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Women, supporters and family and friends of domestic violence survivor Mariam Gevorgyan organized a demonstration outside the Court of First Instance of Ararat and Vayots Dzor Marzes (in Artashat). Demonstrators were again met with a small crowd of supporters and relatives of the accused, Mariam's former mother-in-law, Haykanush Mikaelyan.
