Even Dayton had that horrible accident under Kody's "care". Mykelti got bucked from a horse and he focused more on the horse! These are just what I remember off the top of my head. He's negligent and dangerous and Robyn is a fool (among other things) for thinking she can trust Kody. He left his wives. He abandoned his children. Robyn, you are no exception and he'll do the same to you eventually.

If I was Ysabel's teacher and aware in real time of what was happening, as a mandated reporter I would have called CPS on his ass. You don't have to beat a child with a belt to be abusive. Denying a child needed medical care is abuse. She was in pain everyday from her scoliosis and he pulled her from medical care and took her to some exercise guru instead. This got filmed and NO ONE did anything. Then the child had to wait till her mother raised enough money for surgery. Again NO ONE did anything. Not attending her surgery was psychological cruelty pure and simple. The people around him must be so blinded by his TLC fame that he is just getting away with this crap. TLC should be ashamed of not getting Ysabel help when they saw what was happening. It's sickening.

I have had the scoliosis surgery. First time (15yr old) was severe like Isabel’s. Second time (40yr old) was to extend my fusions to my tailbone so now I’m fused from the bottom of my shoulder blades down. The recovery is BRUTAL. From what I understand her curve was higher than mine. That mean while she was healing the muscles that had to be cut to expose the vertebrae on the sides so they can add the bone chips for the fusions, she had to keep breathing. So every inhale and exhale was moving stitches along her spine. She would have felt every cough, sneeze, hiccup. There WERE tears. I had tears both times. To not have my dad there would have been horrible. For my first surgery, my dad would sleep at the hospital to help mom with me, then drive 1.5 hr to go to work and drive back again in the evening to stay with us. That’s what a real dad does. For my second one, he and mom would stay at my house with me, when my husband couldn’t be there just in case I needed something. Kody is a horrible excuse of a father. And a horrible excuse for a human being. I have absolutely no sympathy. Such a weak man to allow himself to be pulled away from his children like that.

When the sister wives left the kids with Kody and went to San Francisco, Solomon went with them. Robyn was still nursing and took Solomon. So it's even worse that Kody neglected Truely. He had all the kids except Sol (Ari was not born yet.) Kody seemed to be gone a lot, with Robyn's kids at her house, while Aspyn was left in charge of a very sick Truely and also Ysabel and Gwen were still kids that needed looking after. Logan and Madison basically watched Savannah, she was still a very little girl, like 7 years old. Kody was being creeper dad with his new kids, staying with them most of the time because they didn't have older siblings to take care of them.

As someone whose father and mother are very much similar to Kody..in my opinion, we have a large population of adults within the USA that believe it is ok to treat their children as personal punching bags both physically and emotionally. Maybe if we had LAWS and CONSEQUENCES for parents, people wouldn’t be so eager to bring life into this world. But, that TAX money they get at the beginning of each year is addicting and ultimately the offspring they create causes society to offer “parents” more assistance in life. It never really goes to the child. It’s been my observation that (most of the time)it’s the worst of us who become parents. 😡
