French Braid by Anne Tyler (Book Review)

Hello everyone and welcome to my new review of Anne Tyler's new book, French Braid.

This was our book club book and an intriguing read of a family through the span of many years. Initially I thought, "what am I reading?" as it seemed slow as we learned about the lives of the different members of the family and how they related to each other. If you're looking for a plot driven book, this may not be your cup of tea but if you're looking for a book that makes you think about what it means to be in a family - and not a perfect one at that - then this is for you. It received mixed reviews at our book club on the night but I didn't mind it at all.
