Nathaniel and Ron, 2009 San Diego

It was such a blessing to play with Nathaniel. The two of us had such a great time the following week when we went to see the Berlin Philharmonic at the Disney Center. I really love Nathaniel. He's such a great soul. Can't wait to collaborate with him on music making project - maybe we can do some Beethoven... I loved how he played my djembe drum with sticks as I played the Pathetique. That was a first :-)

An interesting cello accompaniment to Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor. Bach intended the original to be an organ solo in church. Always room for improvisation... A wonderful combination...

Put the pianist to work! Gd stuff!
