I’m pretty damn sure every one in these comments do not look for engine, transmission etc under the hood of a car it’s about specs outside the car itself exterior and interior design it’s more about style 😅 I have not seen any damn human that buy car look under the under for engine details and it’s power train all it take is a test drive and you gone buy it doesn’t even matter if it’s 2,3,4cylinder or whatever !! America is so delusional I see more people buying Chevy then any other car begin sold as of Kia don’t even have a high car sale in it’s market even if it’s a 3 cylinder 😂

That 3, cylinder is the only thing that scares me

Wait till the AC goes out . We bought a 25 Trax and AC already broke with no parts to fix . Google it. Don't buy.

I was going to look at one of thse by the wet timing belt design and what it will take to replace it, perhaps one of the most difficult and EXPENSIVE timing belt jobs in on the market. Basically, you run this till the belt snaps and then you have it hauled out for scrap.

All good , but no Rear A/C vents ,

Definitely need to replace wet belts with chains.

It’s a 137 hp econobox. A few bells and whistles can’t disguise the lack of performance.

Why the hell would they add that panel in the back when you left the trunk gate???

I really like it but my main concern is the 134 hp. If you add two full sized adults in it with the A/C on and try to merge onto the highway, you might be in trouble 😂

Wet timing belt engine design. Absolutely not

As much hate as my vehicle (Ford EcoSport 2.0 AWD) gets, it's far more reliable and solid than this piece of crap. It's subframe has way more backbone. This is a far better LOOKING vehicle, but that junk wet rubber timing belt in the engine is just asking for a major problem. It's not any better than the older Traxx's bad timing chain at 40-60,000 miles. In fact, it's worse. Planned obsolescence. Then there's it's plastic tie rod ends and TERRIBLE layout of the undercarriage. It's a pretty piece of garbage with a nice interior. Smooth, deceptive crap. If I had a pick between a brand new Traxx and my EcoSport with 9,000 miles...I'd stay with mine.

I test drove the Trax and wasn’t impressed. It honestly felt like a $21,000 car. The Buick Envista had a much better build quality and drove much better. I would honestly spend the couple grand more and buy the base model Envista. I ultimately ended up getting the Nissan Rogue but I think I would’ve been just as happy with the Envista. The Trax: not so much.

A three cylinder engine with a wet timing belt. Good luck.

1) The design is biting Hyundai/ Kia style. 2) Agree, tons of space. 3) The older Equinox have USB ports right there, they could have placed AC vents there with 1 port. 4) Agree, Chevy knows how to do comfy seats, nothing new. 5) Agree, price is a bargain at MSRP but it's because they went cheap on materials under the hood and at the suspension system.

I am considering one of these for my next vehicle. I like the look and price. I would upgrade the speakers though to make it perfect as I do love my music.

Could’ve added rear seat warmers, more plugs other options for the stitching but I love driving it

Personally the sunroof sucks. It doesn't fully open. It just tilts upward
