I think that one of the gifts of Andor S2 will be that there’s enough questions/room to tell more in the 4yrs to branch off and tell more stories that allows SW to keep one foot firmly planted in the familiar and maintain its anti-fa roots. Which can then allow them the breathing room to take chances on where to go next in a post Skywalker saga.
As a 🇨🇦 that TPM opening crawl has taken on a whole new relevance but the political side of the prequels while not exciting in the pew pew lazer sword sense was really the only well written part of those films. Palp’s plot was well executed. Anakin as a character stand in for the 🇺🇸 less so. It’s a shame more ppl weren’t listening to what uncle George was warning about as here we are 20yrs later…
I think I'm going to love all of Superman except the end. Gunn really does whatever he wants with the 3rd act. And I'm more talking a final fight scene. With the Guardians it didn't matter too too much, but was noticeable for me. Superman is different. He is a very physical character. I'd really appreciate it if the end isn't silly or another talk no jutsu kind of thing. Maybe I'm tripping.
ОтветитьRobin Hood men in tights is funny as shit!
ОтветитьRather a Worlds Finest movie over doing 2 Batman solo movies in a calendar year. I never thought doing Batman vs Superman was a bad idea, the opening box office spoke for itself. It failed in its execution and storytelling.
ОтветитьIt sounds like the rumors of the movie being restructured are largely overblown. They cut out the title cards that separated each day of the week and that’s about it. I think it’ll still be a somewhat episodic movie.
There were also only five days of reshoots in total, which is nothing when it comes to these things and probably amounts to a few extra shots and maybe a line of dialogue here or there.
Like you guys, I grew up with Mel Brooks movies. Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, and High Anxiety are all on my top ten comedy films. However, History of the World part two was pretty bad.

Something like what ?
Like the SE theatrical re-release trailer…

But if you’ve only seen it this way you haven’t seen it at all. Now, for its [50th] anniversary the adventure of a lifetime returns to the big screen in a way [many have] never seen it before… W/ the [original un-]enhanced visual effects, [Dolby stereo] sound, [in Technicolor], & [no] new surprises. This May Lucasfilm, the BFI, & Disney invite you to welcome back… Finally the motion picture event the way it was [originally] experienced… as the [original first print of Star Wars] returns. On May 25th, 2027… Star Wars for whole generations that have yet to experience it on the big screen & for everyone else to experience it again. Star Wars the original print.
