CleanMyMac X Review

CleanMyMac X is effectively malware. It doesn't seem to have a clue what files it’s deleting. If you use Logic Pro, DO NOT install CleanMyMac X. Your plug-ins will stop working. You will also start to find that random files begin to mysteriously disappear, even those stored on cloud drives. And once you install it, it is impossible to fully uninstall, forcing you to do a complete re-install of macOS itself. I use Set-App and like most of its apps, but please God do not install CleanMyMac X. I have no idea how it is endorsed by Apple themselves.

what's the difference between cleanmymac and clenmymac x?

Real tech pro's will tell you to avoid this software at all costs... I used to use it and is messed up my iMac.
