These were really popular in the 2000s ! Last time I came 6 years ago there were way less machines but they’re coming back into popularity now! I urge you all to try it if you get to go to Japan. We had way too much fun. I bet people were wondering what all the ruckus was about

We got to decorate our pictures after and have them printed as well as save them to our phones by QR code.
The booth was 500 yen (roughly $3.17) and I think it was an extra 200 yen (roughly $1.27) to save them
They had the option to save them unedited for a few hundred more yen but we opted out

Please if you travel to Japan give these a try
We had way too much fun
