I'm sorry but the very idea that someone would have to hide this from another wife shows how dodgy this is.

this vid such a treasure to find...celestial plural marriage is galactic human law...spiritual wifery betters societal sluttery...Smith-Moroni-Living Lamb cannot all fall...be the Idea and Spirit of Divine Inspiration (the Divine Within and the Divine Without) not mere idealogy and lifestyle, if that...good luck, be blessed

In those days it was common to marry young, thus the fact that his wives were teenagers is not relevant.

Ответить
@DJWarHorse
@DJWarHorse - 15.10.2012 09:06

No it wasn't. The average age for marriage was really no different than what it is today. Furthermore, girls back then didn't menstruate as early as they do now.

Whatever the "average age" was and how it compares today is still different from the fact that it was much more common in those days that wives were considerably younger.

The evidence of that is a little sketchy. There is no evidence that he was having sex with 14yos.

According to D&C Section 132, the sole purpose of polygamy was to "multiply and replenish the earth". Can't do that without sex.

Yet there is no evidence of children to "replenish the earth" that came from Smith...?

The LDS church don't realize that why other sects are still practice plural marriage. Because the those sects believes that plural marriage should always be practice and never ends.

@Van2Dan
@Van2Dan - 05.01.2013 14:29

That's right the LDS church are taught that the reason why they practice plural marriage in the 19th century was because there weren't enough men. That wasn't the reason why. It was practice so that you can become Gods.

What is it of anybody's business if men and women live the Abrahamic lifestyle? The Celestial Plural Covenant concerns the mystery of Elohim's concealing His seed in the ovaries of women throughout time. This goes back to the mystery of the Two Trees in the Garden of Eden. The Tree of Life represents the patrilineage of the seeds of Elohim concealed in the wombs of women, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, Satan's Seed in the remainder of men. "YOU will know THEM by their fruit!"

Here’s an excerpt from the book, “Can Mitt Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church VS The Office of the Presidency of the United States of America”, which reveals the facts about the polygamous roots in Mitt Romney’s family: “Polygamy was prominent throughout Mitt Romney’s family tree. Mormon Church genealogical records, among the most detailed and complete of any religion, show that two of Mitt Romney's great-grandfathers had five wives and at least one of his great-great grandfathers had 12.

Beliefs have consequences... The belief that polygamy is needed for salvation by polygamous Mormon groups has created so much sadness and pain for women who have to bury feelings of tormented sorrow every day to try to cope with having their husband sleep with another woman.

I am wondering how such intelligent people can believe a religion founded by a convicted con man, Joseph Smith, who said God talks to him. Since he was found to be a total con artist, isn't the credibility of his religion tarnished?

There is no proof that Abraham , Moses , Isaac, or any of the Patriarchs of the O.T. had multiply wives. In fact, over and over, in Genesis, Sarah is referred to as Abram's wife not one of his wives. At no place in the O.T. does it ever allude to any teaching that multiple wives will get you into a Celestial Kingdom .

Polygamy has some practical points - less adultery, less divorce, less loneliness, more adults to help with children, fewer women who are left lifelong single but had hoped to marry, less pressure per wife (!), more children and more fun, friendship possible between the wives, good for times/cultures where many men have been killed, incarcerated, or unavailable for various reasons

This interview more than the hundreds of other episodes on Mormon stories that I’ve seen, really encapsulates the culty vibes! She’s so casually says things that are demonstrably false, and so casually defends abuse!🤯
