I can only imagine through this video and the lyrics that the husband was mentally deranged, psychotic, and likely schizophrenic, having dark fantasies of doing things to his wife like choking her, blinding her, dismembering her, etc, and with the amplification of drug (and likely) alcohol abuse, eventually he gave into those thoughts, living all his psychotic fantasies and more, like cutting her body and hanging it like a display, whilst killing her in the middle of the process. And when he finally came down from his blood high, he realized what he had done, and while through his eyes his wife had come back and shot him dead, he actually killed himself, both bc of the schizophrenia and because of the horribly immense guilt and depression he felt for torturing and killing his wife.

This shit's fucked, but it's portrayed in a fashion both horrible and beautiful, like the grotesque cathartic work of art it is. Daniel Kiranos, you are one helluva man, and I am honored to have watched you perform live at Mr. Smalls not once, but twice.
