Stronger and Stronger
2 Samuel 3:1 ESV “There was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. And David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul became weaker and weaker.“
1. Don’t give up! Hebrews 10:38-39 ”And he also says, “My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!” But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!“ This is not the season to retreat... this is a season of taking back everything that belongs to you and your household!
2. Stay in the House! You are exactly where you need to be, where God wants you to be! Your season is not over, it’s just getting started because you’re getting stronger! (Successful Failure) As we reach failure during our last set, the muscle fibres become completely fatigued. Microscopic tears ‘microtears’ occur in the myofilaments (the smallest muscle fibre bundles in your muscles). Repair and growth. The post-workout repair process when our muscles start to grow. The body repairs the microtears by adding amino acids (actin and myosin) to the myofilament, which causes them to grow in size. I know you’re tired, I know you it’s been a long fight against so much opposition, but if you could see what the tearing and the tiredness and the tears is producing, you’re actually getting stronger while everything that comes against you is getting weaker and weaker! James 1:2-5 ”My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.” Psalms 92:13-14 NET ”Planted in the Lord’s house, they grow in the courts of our God. They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves.“
3. Praise while you wait! ”Isaiah 40:29-31 ESV He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.“ Philippians 4:4 ESV ”Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 TPT “But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.“
