The functions just need to relate to video games. The capture function where it takes pictures and short video clips is pretty cool.

This reminds me that I feel sony is going way overboard with the graphics options, rtx on or off, 30 - 40 - 60 - 120 fps and then add pro updates or ps4 / ps5 modes, keeping it simple for me is the way to go

I've been thinking of this for some time. Maybe there's going to be a "Low Battery" mode that downgrades the game to run at lower clock speeds and with no cooling fan. It would automatically turn on at 10% battery or lower as well.

There would eventually be a "Switch 2 Lite" that's not only digital only but also without a cooling fan, in order to keep it pocketable. Its only power profile would be "Low Battery" mode, and would be a hardware difference similar to Xbox Series S and X.

Maybe some games would skip the Low Battery mode and might be incompatible with the Switch 2 Lite, but I believe it would be a case-by-case basis and they'd have to get special permission from Nintendo.

This means that there would be three power profiles instead of two; "Lite", "Undocked" and "Docked"

Having to choose between the two modes really stained this generation.

I hope there is a handheld only option.

This would be absolutely awesome! I wish there was more customizability in consoles... probably the main reason I switched to pc. Dont think this would bring me back 100%, but def the right move for Nintendo

I didn't likes PC handhelds at all. So this Switch 2 are my go to for future gaming. No need 120fps for hybrid console, max at 60fps is more than enough. Hopefully it's have 7 hours AAA gameplay in single charge 👍💪

Honestly, if I win I would like to get Cardfight Vangaurd Dear Days 2. A gifted $70 will hurt less.

I've heard the toggle switches performance between less than 30fps and something like 30fps.

I want the Zelda breath of the wild tears of Kingdom

The next console better run at 60 fps, because Echoes of Wisdom and Mario & Luigi run horribly on the switch 💀 it’s not unbearable, but the fps dips are extremely noticeable.
