You know what would've made this episode interesting? If the Raccoonicorn and Pegasnail leaders were their and plotting behind Jazz's back. Like we'd hear them talking with each other but Jazz only hears squeaks and chirps from them.

And I still wish what kind of formal function the Mane 5 were up to 🥰

I like this episode it was funny that the animals were misbehaving but I was more interested in the outing that the mane 5 were having I wanted to know where they went. I was hoping for the grand galloping gala. Also I'm already in a Christmas mood this month.

Honestly I have to agree that this episode was really disappointing. It was just too wild and chaotic in a bad way, and with the way the critters gave Jazz a hard time, it honestly reminded me of the Baby Cakes episode from Friendship is Magic, which is my least favorite episode of season 2, and one of my least favorite episodes of that show overall. That’s one of the reasons I usually don’t like plots centered around babysitting, with the exception of an episode from another one of my favorite shows. Most of the comedy didn’t work, save for the mirror gag and I think there was another joke that made me laugh that I’m having a hard time remembering. Plus the joke about the bunnycorn crapping made me facepalm. One of the things I always admired about MLP was it’s lack of gross out humor so what the hell is happening, first fart jokes and now this? The critters were a nuisance here with constantly f*cling up everything in the bright house and giving Jazz a hard time. I said this before and I’ll say it again, they were better in Foal Me Once and Lost In Translation, and they were committing crimes in Foal Me Once for crying out loud. Then the way everything was fine when the mane 5 got back, once again heavily reminded me of Baby Cakes which is not a good sign. Overall this episode sucked. It’s not the worst since it does have some good moments, but they don’t save it from being one of the worst episodes in this series. Here’s where I’d rank it:

This episode was cute because (Jazzy-babes!) but definitely not my fav...love the animals’ Shakespeare inspired attire though!

This gen did not need to wait for the hundredth ep to not need the Mane cast.

Zipp wearing a tuxedo was one of if not the only saving grace of this episode

Apparently the main five have been taking intimidation lessons from Pinkie Pie. Just stuff it all in a room eh.

Yeah, probably not a great sign when the two things I find most entertaining about the episode come with caveats: I got a kick out of the mirror gag with Opaline, but the Brighthouse should have blocked the compact from working; and I got a laugh out of the bunnycorn pooping gag, but mostly because of how mad it made people on Derpibooru.
